I recently visited the Well-Fed Traveler cafe in Belarus, and I was absolutely delighted! This establishment is located right by the road, which makes it a great place to stop while traveling.
From the moment I entered the cafe, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was top notch — the waiters were attentive and helpful, always ready to help with the selection of dishes.
Now about the food! I tried their famous potato pancakes, and it was just divine! The crispy crust on the outside and the soft, delicate filling on the inside is exactly what I was looking for. They are served with homemade sour cream, which perfectly complements the taste.
Besides the draniki, the menu offers many other delicious dishes, and I couldn't resist the temptation to try a few more. Each dish was prepared with soul and attention to detail.

As of 2025, I am editing: 1* This is no longer a well-fed traveler, this is a hungry traveler. And if you're driving early in the morning, you can't expect to be fed. One employee, he's a cook, he's a cashier, he's a waiter. I couldn't eat my favorite draniki, and I couldn't even make an order. 04/28/25 Let's go. There is a crowd, there is no one at the cash register, several people are already decently waiting for the order at the tables. It was a failure. We stood for 10-15 minutes, and then left to look for another place. Dear owners of this establishment, indicate the opening hours correctly, this is definitely not a 24-hour institution, there are clearly not enough staff.

Cool rooms at very pleasant prices compared to other hotels, excellent cafes, delicious food, a large selection of alcohol and not expensive! We liked everything very much, we had a really delicious meal, especially everyone liked the draniki, which they did not have time to get tired of during the trip, they even took a couple of servings with them. Of the advantages, a cozy place, a variety of menus, fast delivery, we rented a room (on the 1st floor room 2 for two, clean, linen smells very tasty, everything is ironed, water and chocolates in the room,TV, for a stopover for the night is excellent and not expensive! The cafe has a menu for every taste, we took solyanka, borscht, French fries and fried rice, the kitchen is solid 4. I recommend it, we will definitely come again, since we ride along this highway for long distances.

Yesterday I drove by on December 11, 2024 at about 12 p.m., had 30 minutes left, stopped by to eat.
I ordered soup, bread and coffee (everything can be served quickly). I paid, got the number and waited. The cafe was not crowded, not all the tables were occupied.
There were wet spots on the table (apparently compote).
Bread was brought in 3 minutes later. THE SOUP WAITED 25 MINUTES and still did not wait!!!
In short, I did not have time to eat. I returned the number and thanked them for letting me go hungry. No one offered to refund my payment or hurry up the cooks.

We accidentally stopped by this cafe for lunch and did not regret it.
A cozy atmosphere. There are always a lot of people. But it does not interfere.
A huge menu. It's like in a respectable city restaurant. The food arrived quickly. It is moderately beautiful and delicious at home. The portions are large, so the children had enough for one for two.
And after eating, you can take a walk around the cozy territory. And you can continue on your way.

We visited the Well-fed Traveler cafe. I don't recommend it to anyone. I ordered a dranik, supposedly branded with the name Well-fed traveler, and tea in a teapot. They brought a large, tasteless flatbread filled with dry, tough pieces of pork and fatty overcooked onions.
"Tea" in a teapot is a separate song. Imagine a white liquid with no color, no smell, no taste, just something cloudy. I refused to drink it. However, the replacement was made immediately. But what was it?
The diner doesn't respect itself or people! Take care of yourself!

A good option for travelers on the M-1 highway, on the way from Minsk to Russia. A large selection of Belarusian dishes (we chose draniki, sorcerers and baked fish). Everything is fresh and delicious. It is especially nice that the dishes were brought quickly. We waited no more than 10-15 minutes. At the same time, you can buy lard and other delicious "gifts from Belarus" here. In general, we will go there again - we will look again.

We have never stayed here overnight.
About the hotel: the rooms are quite comfortable, with their own bathroom. There is a TV. Free water, Alenka chocolate. Disposable slippers are available.
The last time we were here in November, the room on the 3rd floor is quite cool, the batteries are barely warm. They told about it at the reception, promised to fix it and it seemed to be fixed, but the stoker turned something off again and as a result it was cold again.
For the inconvenience, we made a 50% discount on breakfast in the cafe. The food is ordinary, the prices are reasonable.
I would like to mention the staff - polite, try to please and help, sociable.

We traveled around Belarus, and on the way home we stopped at this cafe, as it did not happen to have a good dinner in Minsk.
And here we were met by a pleasant receptionist, accepted the order, and a few minutes later a polite and courteous guy brought our dishes.
Everything is from the heart, delicious and satisfying.

P. S. After having dinner in the evening, we decided to spend the night at the cafe, and in the morning we had wonderful pancakes with sour cream and casserole.

It turned out that I urgently needed to leave Moscow for Minsk on February 25 to meet my mother at the airport on February 26, spend the night not far from the airport and put her on a plane on the 27th in the morning. I found the Well-Fed Traveler hotel on the map and called. The receptionist wrote down the name and phone number, said that we are waiting for you tomorrow, come. The next day we arrived and were greeted. The entrance is through the cafe. Payment by Mir card. Our things were taken to the room. It is very clean and cozy. High-quality bed linen, towels, blackout curtains, furniture. Everything is fine. They were carefully placed on the table in a stand: bars, water, instructions on connecting Wi-Fi, pendants with the image of the hotel as a keepsake for each guest. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer, disposable bags of shampoo and gel. We went down to the cafe to have lunch. A varied menu, everything is delicious at home. We ordered for three: borscht-3, vinaigrette-2, cutlets-2, mashed potatoes-2, cheburek-1, coffee-1, compote-2. It was 70 bel. rub, 2059 Russian rubles. Accommodation in a room for 4 people - 5500 Russian rubles. In the morning, we called a Yandex taxi, it takes 13 minutes to get to the airport, it costs 600-750 Russian rubles. I definitely recommend the Well-Fed Traveler hotel! Thank you for your hospitality!
