A school is not a building, it’s a battlefield of ideas. Plato saw it as the climb out of darkness, Aristotle as the soil where virtue grows. Dewey argued it isn’t preparation for life but life itself, and Freire warned it can either liberate you or tame you. So the real question isn’t what is a school? but rather what kind of school are we making here, with our voices, our questions, and our courage?
