The best Georgian restaurant in Batumi. If you are not confused by the huge long queues at the entrance, then it is definitely worth a visit. Khinkali and kindzmarauli are just a piece of cake.
What disappointed me was mom-khinkali - ordinary khinkali is much tastier and juicier, but it's done more and more for the sake of the show, so if you don't mind the money and want something unusual, then you can order

There really is a queue at the entrance, they defended quickly, in fact there are a lot of spaces: on the ground floor there is a hall, upstairs the hall is louder - live music is playing and singing, we were sitting on the veranda - very dark, to be honest (photo attached) there are clearly not enough waiters or I don't know what the problem is , then everything will take a long time to wait: the bill, food, even just asking for an ashtray

An amazing place! There is always a free table, many halls, and a beautiful setting. The menu is large, the items are written in three languages (Georgian, English, Russian), and the service fee is also indicated. Pork ojahuri is beyond praise! Khachapuri is crazy! The portions are huge, keep in mind. And be sure to try homemade strawberry lemonade. The prices are very pleasant, below the average in the city. The service is great! Live music in the evenings at 19-20 o'clock.

We were advised to visit the Tavaduri restaurant in the hotel. It takes 10 minutes by car from the Ferris wheel. It's very tasty, just huge portions of salads , interesting serving, friendly staff. The most delicate veal kebab. 260 lari came out for four people. We ordered mom- khinkali , inside one khinkali there are 10 small ones , two skewers of kebabs , three Greek salads, fish steak on a skewer drinks , 0.5 vodka.

Overall, it's a good place for appearance, but being a waiter myself, I can see perfectly well how much the restaurant is getting worse🥲
It seems that the food is good, really Georgian, but there is no service at all
They came as a family for the second time, at least they forgot about us, they remembered later when they called. They called the waiter as a waiter, because they don't have badges, hahaha, they don't even have badges!!
They asked for a menu, the "man" was sent to the menu by qr code… Should I have offered Wi-Fi in that case? He made his face unhappy, went, found the menu and (from my point of view) threw it on the table. They asked me to take an order from us, the waiter said, "just a second!" But 5-10 minutes passed and only after I had to get up and come over, ask again, he came over. The wait turned out to be very long, the khinkali was prepared for an hour (even in the best restaurant in Yekaterinburg, dishes cannot be prepared for so long) ... they forgot about us a couple more times, well, that's all, it was an extreme trip to this restaurant, maybe the last one, before that it was a little better, the waiter at least came up and asked or removed the napkins and was with a satisfied face, not sullen and scary☺️
In general, I recommend it! If you want to wait, but only khinkali is delicious to eat😘

The place is pleasant and beautiful. The atmosphere is closer to European. Ofiki are pleasant, cultured. English and Russian are understood. The kitchen is so-so. Khinkali is delicious, my husband liked it. I don't because of the salt. The torn beef salad is delicious. The kebab in the lavash is disgusting: dry, over-salted (like everything else), seasonings are somehow mixed, there is no bacon there. Khachapuri was medium (dryish, not enough cheese compared to other places), rather resembled a cheese tortilla. The check was issued for 66 lari. We ate without appetite.

A story about the agony of pleasure
I have a best friend. She came, like me, on vacation in Batumi. Seeing her is always a special event. And so, my husband and I, and she and her daughter, planned a meeting at the restaurant. We decided to have dinner at a "cool" (as her daughter thought) and a little pretentious restaurant called "Tavaduri".
The dinner was great: the food was delicious, the service was excellent. We were not even confused by the fact that pork knuckle was served with the barbecue, which, as we believe, was poisoned. I arrived home happily tired, sat on the phone for a while, took a shower and went to bed. The eyes immediately closed, anticipating a sweet dream.. But then I felt a lump rise in my throat... It was the most hellish night of my life, I've never been so poisoned!
I take a couple of sips of water and run back to the bathroom to cuddle with my white friend. It seemed that my stomach had shrunk in size to a thimble, and it was spewing out everything it had eaten.1,2,7,13 - I lost count of how many times I ran to the bathroom. So until the morning! It seemed that my head would burst with pain!
I spent the next 4 days with poisoning!!!!!! This is the first time this has happened to me!
As a result, we sat in a restaurant for 378 GEL and I can say bluntly that I'm talking about this money...La!

We lived in Batumi for 4 years, we always went only to Tavaduri. Birthdays, holidays, with visiting friends, just to have lunch -only there, "Tava duri" never failed. A variety of dishes (but we always preferred Georgian cuisine only), taste, service - everything is at an excellent level. Young people are trying very hard, experienced staff help, the hostel is always friendly and try to land faster, advise places ... Now we have arrived, immediately there, and only pleasant emotions. The management and staff did a great job! Thank you for the many happy memories!

I've heard a lot of recommendations about this place, but I got there only the second time) I am a frequent guest in Batumi, but this institution began to enjoy such popularity only this summer. In the evening, in the middle of August, we stood in line with friends for 35 minutes, eventually we didn't wait and left. We arrived for lunch on 25.08 at 15:15 - again the queue at the entrance, waited 10 minutes and finally we managed to sit down) The restaurant is very beautiful, well renovated and pleasant atmosphere. We got a table on the 2nd floor. The air conditioners work very well that even most of the visitors were sitting in blankets😅 ordered chicken soup for the child (delicious soup, not spicy ), chikhirtma- very disappointed, it looked like an ordinary broth and did not have the right saturation! But what everyone praised very much was khinkali and they were really gorgeous! I would even say the best in Batumi! Thin and delicate dough, lots of broth and delicious minced meat. The restaurant had a full boarding and the waiters did everything very smartly) in general, the impression is very good, but for the national soup, I lower the asterisk.

We came on the recommendation of the staff of the hotel where we stayed and the Internet at about 7 pm on Mon.
We stood in line for 40 minutes to enter.
I really wanted delicious khinkali.
When our turn came, we were offered a place on the terrace - we agreed. It was a mistake: it's hard to imagine a self-respecting restaurant offering such tables, here you have all the charms: street noise, smoking people, poor table lighting. It felt like we were unloved relatives and we were planted anywhere. We took the menu ourselves, accepted the order from us, but warned that the Khinkali would wait 50 minutes (by the way, they brought them in 30).
First, they brought homemade lemonade (pomegranate?) it tastes like soda with a lot of syrup - not tasty. Then, after 15 minutes, the cucumber-tomato salad was brought: delicious, but it turned out to contain several pieces of hot green pepper. Due to the poor lighting, we did not immediately notice it and my husband ate a whole piece of pepper. He is allergic and avoids the acute. It was unpleasant, but we survived. After another 5 minutes, the waitress casually threw a plate of salad on our table, we did not immediately understand whether it was for us or temporarily parked this dish on our table. Having illuminated the dish with a flashlight, we decided that this was our salad with eggplant) it turned out not to be tasty. Then they brought us what we came for - khinkali. They turned out to be .... different) there were different amounts of minced meat everywhere, somewhere the meat was with a good portion of pepper, somewhere there was no pepper and salt at all. Perhaps the cooks got so steamed up that they stirred the minced meat and molded khinkali in a hurry. On the plus side: the khinkali was cooked, the dough was thin and they were brought to us earlier than promised))
We ate faster than we expected a table, and screwed out of this wonderful place in search of dessert.

We found a restaurant, excellent according to photos and reviews. There's even a queue at the entrance to have dinner, it looks great. In fact, everything is different, the hall on the ground floor may be normal, on the second floor there is a dining room with loud music and noisy guests, the appearance seems to have found itself at a wedding in the noughties. Khinkali is not served on the second floor, perhaps because of the full house. Nevertheless, we came to Adjara to try khachipuri, but as it turned out, the taste of the food was a solid three. In fact, I can't say that the place is bad or not at all tasty, but definitely not five stars.

The food is good, we were unlucky as there was not half of what we wanted to order.
But the service is below average: a completely unfriendly waiter, hurried us with a choice, for some reason it was the beer that brought 30 minutes after the reminder, and did not come up anymore, we had to go for forks for the children ourselves.

There were two adults and two children. The waiter insistently sells the most expensive dishes, it is almost impossible to get acquainted with the menu, it is right over your soul, you ask about a specific dish, the question is ignored, immediately advises another, of course, the most expensive, when he realizes that you will not order everything that he advises, loses interest in you from the word at all! We were immediately warned that the waiting time was more than an hour, they did not order, they decided not to wait. But at the next table, the guests came at the same time as us, ordered khinkali and tadaaam, they received the order at the same time as ours) We assumed that we were simply deceived not to order khinkali, because it is not profitable. On the urgent recommendations of the waiter, my husband ordered soup (of course, the most expensive from the menu), I did not remember the name, very specific, for an amateur, it resembles our sorrel soup. I ordered mussels for myself, the dish cost 35 lari, 1200 rubles, when the dish was brought, I didn't even have words, I was confused, it's a pity that I didn't take a picture, there was a gravy boat with wine sauce in the center of the plate, and 8 mussels were laid out in a circle, dry, obviously over-dried, no sauce can save such mussels It is simply impossible to eat. The children were ordered pork kebab and kebab, it was delicious, I can't say anything here, the children ate with pleasure. We also ordered lemonade: raspberry and pomegranate, we did not like it, two lemonades taste exactly the same, ice up to the neck of the decanter, and one piece of mint for the whole decanter) Unfortunately, the waiter offered us only two types of lemonade to choose from: raspberry (15 lari), pomegranate (25 lari), although later we looked at the menu that there were other types and saw how the waiters carried citrus lemonade to other guests. For some reason, only forks were put out of cutlery for children, without knives, it is unclear what this is related to, the children are already adults, they are the same guests of the restaurant as the rest. But I didn't even want to enter into a dialogue with the waiter once again, he was as unhappy and unfriendly towards us as possible. Unfortunately, I didn't like anything, the price tag was 185 GEL

Very tasty food)) we came to try khachapuri in Imeretian and Khinkali, we will definitely come back for khachapuri in Adjarian))) a separate plus of this institution is the friendly waiters and the hall administrator. There were some difficulties with the table next to it, it was noisy and we asked to be transplanted, several people took up this issue at once, which is very nice. And in the end we were transplanted and everything was fine✨judging by the reviews, we were very lucky, as we went in almost immediately (waited until they found a table) very tasty ice coffee and everything is delicious. In general, despite 5.0 general out of 1000 reviews, there are a number of strong disadvantages:
1) if you go to an evening party, there will be live music, but it is inadequately loud. It is impossible not to talk, or even to give the waiter an order normally;
2) it is not clear why the air conditioner is turned off at 18 degrees. It feels really cold, a lot of people ended up asking the waiters for blankets.;
3) despite the generally delicious menu, the pork kebab was not half chewy, and the khachapuri in Adjarian style brought butter / margarine President in a package ...
There are almost no questions about the staff, everything was quite responsive, there is a manager at the entrance. But there is a funny nuance - some waiters bring dishes to special points on the floors, while others are spread on the tables on the spot. So more than once we have observed a picture when it is clear that your dish has been brought, but you are sitting and waiting for the second waiter to deign to serve it to you.

Pork kebab 20 lari, beer 4, mama hinkal 20, just khinkali 1.50, khachapuri Imereti or tavaduri 20. At the same time, everything is absolutely delicious, it's a shame that the portions have become much smaller. In general, I recommend the place, most likely if you come, you will need to stand in line for some time.
