The infrastructure is old, the attractions at the entrance look like they come from Soviet times, but there are no complaints about the animals — everyone is active and well-groomed. The prices are very affordable: Adult: 4 lari Child (from 3 years old): 3 GEL Up to 3 years old: free of charge Who did you meet: Zebras, monkeys, deer, kangaroos, llamas, cows, bulls The elephant (the moment when he stuck his trunk in and exhaled us with hay — let's not forget!) Birds of prey, white lions, tiger, leopard — their enclosures are quite large behind glass Positive: Animals in nice, large enclosures Very cheap tickets Great for a child's first experience with animals Historical place of Tbilisi It took 2 hours with my 2-year-old daughter. Minuses: Old infrastructure, not well maintained condition After the 2015 disaster, they are building a new zoo, but they are not investing in the old one. There is no proper dining room It can be a bit boring without kids. Conclusion: It's worth going if you have a small child or this is his first encounter with animals. For an adult without children, it may be less interesting.
