In the theater, there is a convenient designation of tiers in the auditorium, which is important when buying tickets, i.e. stalls and tiers with boxes. Tier - ordine - 1st, 2nd, etc. up. But, in my opinion, you can only watch from the 1st row so that you can see the scene. There are 2 seats in the rows of boxes, the chairs of the 1st row are located not facing the stage, but opposite each other, i.e. sideways to the stage. It turns out that in the side boxes on half of the seats you even sit with your back to the stage, it is unclear... But the 2nd row sits behind the first one and it's worse to see there. The 3rd row, I suppose, only comes to listen. An additional inconvenience of 2-3 rows is that there is a wall up to the ceiling between the boxes. Unlike the Russian Bolshoi Theatre, where the boxes are separated by a low barrier, this wall also blocks some of the visibility. And no bonus sofas for you in the boxes, there's a door right behind the 3rd row.
Plus, the shape of the hall is very "horseshoe", the sides are very long and straight, you can roll your neck on the sides.
And the lighting is very dim everywhere except for the buffet and the main foyer.
Programs are given out for free, booklets - for money.
I recommend going to the opera, because ballet at La Scala is the level of the dance club of the house of culture. Unless the guest stars are worth going to the ballet. I went to the Bayadere with Kimin Kim, he looked perfect against the background of the locals. But he's already the best. It's just that the contrast in the classroom is impressive.

We went on an excursion, without visiting the theater itself. Of course, it cannot be compared with our bolshoi theater, but it is very atmospheric in Italian. Next time we will try to get to the performance, it is possible that there will be other emotions.

The Opera and Ballet Theater is the Pearl of Milan! Convenient location in the city center, the performance starts at 20-00, there is a buffet on the 1st floor in the lobby! There is also a large buffet between the 2nd and 3rd tiers! The seats were on the 1st floor, there is a separate dressing room! The theater has excellent acoustics, not all seats are comfortable, when buying tickets online you can see what kind of overview from the intended location, because the auditorium is built in the form of a horseshoe, the stage is not always visible entirely from the balconies

A divine place, almost without flaws (you can remember how much Toscanini worked on this theater). The museum right in La Scala is beautiful, I advise you to visit it together with some production unknown to you.

Within walking distance from Milan Cathedral and galleries. There is a completely inconspicuous building outside, at first we did not even realize that this is the famous La Scala! They didn't get inside.

We were here for the second time in 2024, at the L'orontea Opera!! It was just amazing! I am not a theater critic, so I will not write reviews, but I will just say that all opera lovers and connoisseurs absolutely need to visit here!

An inconspicuous building from the outside and majestic inside. In the summer season, they work for tourists, so all opera supplies are perceived without much admiration. I won't even talk about ballet.

Прекрасное место, невероятно теплая атмосфера, никакой помпы, Великолепные, величайшие голоса давали Моцарта "Свадьба Фигаро". В буфете лучший в мире капучино.

Миланский Ла Скала - один из самых элегантных оперных театров Европы, исполненный благородного лаконизма в изысканной античной эстетике неоклассицизма. Скала привлекает своим богатым историческим наследием и статусом лучшего оперного театра Италии. Однако за последние 10 лет глубокий исполнительский кризис постепенно вытеснил миланскую оперную обитель из театрального авангарда Европы, сохранив за ней лишь сугубо формальный титул туристической мекки. Такая же участь постигла и Венскую оперу. Отсутствие достойных итальянских певцов и финансовые проблемы, вынуждающие ангажировать посредственных солистов, давно лишили Скалу привлекательности для ценителей качественного вокала. Даже сезонные премьеры и знаменитые инаугурационные спектакли 7 декабря, открывающие театральный сезон, не могут предложить первоклассных певцов. Однако каждый настоящий почитатель оперного искусства обязан посетить Скалу, погрузиться в его легендарную атмосферу, почувствовать его акустику - его дыхание, которое еще хранит далекое эхо голосов величайших певцов, выступавших на миланской сцене.

Прекрасный театр, великолепная архитектура. О постановках ничего сказать не смогу. Не удалось взять билеты. Надо заранее бронировать

Внутри очень красиво, однако фасадная часть здания смотрится очень неприветливо. С улицы не сразу угодаешь, что это театр с мировым именем.

Каждый вечер в 17.00 можно купить социальные билеты на галерку по 11 евро. Очередь за билетами собирается слева от театра в галерее.

При покупке билетов нужно обращать внимание на обзор. С третьего ряда ложи не видно нечего, со второго ряда 2/3 сцены
