07/20/2022 I came to change Russian rubles, they accepted, checked, and returned 500rubles. Arguing that it is torn (barely visible tear), well, no problem. They give out Belarusian rubles, I look, one banknote with a 50p denomination is torn in half, to the question is this normal, you refuse to accept a barely torn banknote and in return you give out a clearly damaged one, to which I get the answer - This is the national currency!
