It was a very beautiful and large temple, in a wonderful place. Excavations are underway now, I think we will learn a lot of new things!

As of July 2023, excavations are underway, partially excavated walls and the main room with columns. The building is of impressive size, but as far as I understand from the new plaque, it is not yet clear which god the temple was in honor of.

Alexander the Great sailed to the port of Phaselis. A beautiful place with an ancient history, the views are amazing. The ruins of an aqueduct have been preserved on the territory, there is an amphitheater, a solid pine forest provides shade and fragrant air.
