Astana airport made a good impression. The terminal is modern, spacious and clean. The signs are clear, it is easy to find check-in counters, boarding gates and baggage belt. The staff is working quickly, the queues are moving fast. There are plenty of cafes and shops, and the waiting areas are comfortable and well-lit. Wi-Fi is stable. In general, the airport is comfortable and organized.

There is a Wi-Fi connection, but you can only connect with a national Kazakh SIM card. There is a guard hotel and a cafe near the exit from the arrival hall. If you go towards the domestic terminal, there will be an exchange office, ticket offices and car rental on the right. Further to the left: escalator to the second floor, check-in counters and baggage handling. You can only get to the second floor (departure area) using your boarding pass. There is a border checkpoint for departures and an exit to the departure lounge. There are souvenir shops on the ground floor, and then, in the passage to another terminal, there are ATMs of various banks, another exchanger, and a hockey team store. ALL passengers on domestic flights are forced to stand in two queues, because in addition to QR scanners, employees have been assigned to verify their identity and boarding pass data. Every time there is a quest. Plus those who are late, climbing without waiting in line. Therefore, it is better to arrive an hour and a half in advance to preserve the remnants of nerves. The boarding gates are also uneven: two hundred people can line up near two neighboring ones, and the side ones are empty. I don't write about prices - everyone already knows that.

It's a disgusting place, I've never seen anyone take money for registration for a flight, it's also so expensive, fly to the emirates via Astana, at the check-in desk they said you need to pay extra for registration, since you didn't register online.
