I have a general interest in ancient cities and it is very pleasant to travel there and witness the history. I'm leaving an article about why there are only ruins left in this acropolis below.
Göbeklitepe, Nemrut, Hasankeyf, Ephesus and many other historical masterpieces are usually installed in high places as a means of power and oppression (the glory of sovereignty).
The Anatolian lands have a very rich cultural heritage from one end to the other. However, those who have been ruling in these lands for a long time have taken steps in line with their own interests instead of knowing the value of it, protecting it, opening it to the public.
As a result of this reckless personal interest attitude, thousands of historical artifacts, large and small, have been smuggled abroad.
The division of the Ottoman Empire 18. since the beginning of the century, it has not fallen off the agenda of the major European states, and Germany was the strongest hand of these countries.
Germany (Prussia) has advanced its relations with the Ottomans step by step since the 1840s. The cooperation reached such a point that it was almost completely subordinated to Germany's policies. The largest arms trade of the period that the Ottoman Empire made with Germany in the 1880s was noted in history as an important development in the relations of both countries. The Ottoman had lost the collar once. This time, the Berlin-Baghdad railway line agreement came to the agenda. The railway line was given to Germany with the build-operate-transfer model applied by today's AKP. The Ottomans made great compromises to reach this agreement. In addition to a certain profit guarantee, the state gave Deutsche Bank the right to extract the underground riches remaining in a strip of 20 kilometers along the Haydarpaşa-Ankara line and cut trees.
Germany, on the one hand, railway works on the other hand; Bergama, in particular, has embarked on excavation works in many regions. The studies reached such a size that the number of employees in the excavation studies conducted in the Bergama region reached 200 people. If you have the chance to visit and see the Pergamon museum in Berlin, you can see the consequences of this looting.
The Aegean region is a large area full of historical monuments related to the ancient period. The written history of Pergamon, which historians claim has a history of 8,500 years, is 4 BC. it stretches back a century. Pergamon is also the capital of the kingdom referred to by the same name.

I can't believe we got there. Ancient Pergamon delighted us with its greatness. There are not many tourists, sometimes there is a feeling that only you and the wind, which was howling loudly and long above. The view from above opens to the whole of Bergamo. There are a lot of locations, we managed to discharge the phone at 0. The cost of entrance tickets is 340 lira on 02/11/24. Plus a 500 round-trip cable car ride. But it's worth it.

I was looking for my roots and history led me to this God-forsaken city, it's simply impossible to explain in words how and who could build it... it takes your breath away when you stand on top of a mountain, in front of you is an acropolis and huge marble columns on top, the brain refuses to understand it, isn't this another wonder of the world…

Музей на высоте во всех смыслах. Не дешёвый.
Есть что посмотреть.
