Everything is abandoned and overgrown with thorns. There are no people. A great place to walk in silence. There are many ruins. You can see that sometimes someone digs something. You can only get there by car. The roads are beautiful, in places there are primers. P.S. When we left, we saw the family on foot. The car was left on the nearest asphalt road. They looked tired )

A wonderful ancient city, like everything else in the area. Beautiful buildings, quite well preserved. Interestingly, according to one version, the Cilician city of Laertes is considered the birthplace of Diogenes, which makes it especially interesting to visit!

Let's use the navigator to go to this place. We stopped on a dirt mountain road, turned around and drove back. No city was found. There were signs of this city on the road, but they did not understand exactly where it was located. Most likely, the abandonment is complete, and there is nothing to do there.

Laertes is the ruins of the ancient city of Turkey, located at the foot of the high mountain Jebel i Reis. Its history began in the XII century BC and combines ancient times, Byzantine and Roman cultures.

A large Roman city. Relative safety, restoration is not underway, there are no tourists.
