Be very careful with this hotel. We accidentally caused a small surface crack in a cheap laminated bathroom door. It was purely cosmetic — no hole, no damage to the function, and no urgency to replace. They demanded 8000 baht, which is way beyond any realistic repair or replacement cost. First, they said it’s for the door. Then they added “lost income”. We tried to negotiate respectfully and offered 4000 -5000 baht — more than fair — but the manager refused and kept changing the story. Feels like a tourist scam disguised as “policy.” We highly recommend documenting everything and being very cautious. This experience left a very bad impression. finally : they call police and police accept our hand!! but we anyway pay 5000 by for that. they just wanted to earn money from us. BE CAREFUL !
