Great hotel. The room is clean, the plumbing is working, the staff is excellent. Breakfast is quite common for Istanbul - it is quite possible to overeat. One of the best places I've lived in Istanbul. As a result, I have already stayed in Meretto several times - I definitely recommend it. And who writes about poor cleaning - believe me, for non-chain hotels in Istanbul, it's just crystal clear.
UPD.
The last time I lived in a single room, it was a bit cramped, so if possible, it's better to choose a double room. Otherwise, everything is fine as well.

Great hotel! We didn't notice any disadvantages for ourselves. Convenient location: near the T1 tram stop, a little further from the metro (two branches at once and Marmaray). The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia can be reached on foot in 25-30 minutes. The breakfast buffet is optimal: there is enough choice, everything is delicious, and something new appeared every day. No money was left for the maids, they cleaned well and so, the floors were washed every day. The receptionist from Uzbekistan is a very sincere person: he helped us with several issues. Many thanks to the hotel staff for our stay.
If you book a tour through an agency, be careful. We were brought and checked into The Meretto Hotel Istanbul (another hotel in the same chain). I had to stomp into Laleli with my suitcases and explain the situation. We thank the guys at the reception for understanding and resolving the situation. The Istanbul administrator didn't want to evict us, he threatened to pay us double and his boss.

It's not a big hotel, but it's a very cozy one! It is located in the very center of the city, all the sights are within walking distance, the port part is 20 minutes away, markets along the way and a huge number of boutiques, including branded ones. The receptionist is from Uzbekistan, speaks 4 languages, is just a super human being, thank him for helping us so much!!! Cleaning every day, leave a dollar, everything will be OK), breakfast from 7-30 a.m., modest, but always fresh, especially liked the pastries and local delicacies, and a special view from the panoramic windows, very beautiful

A hotel worthy of its stars. Friendly staff from former Soviet republics. Cleaning service daily, linen change every 2-3 days or on request. Replenishment of water daily. Breakfast is a buffet, with a decent range of products. The best location is the metro 400 m, tram 200 m. A chain of branded stores along the tram tracks. Wholesale immediately upon leaving the hotel. Historical sites can be reached on foot.

We did not find any disadvantages in this hotel. Therefore, I will tell you about the advantages:
1. Location. It is very convenient, you can reach most interesting places on foot, but there is also a tram stop and two metro stations nearby. A short walk to the shopping center
2. The staff. We were very warmly welcomed at the reception, everyone speaks Russian, very friendly. After check-out, they offered to leave the bags with them (our flight was late, we didn't have to carry our luggage, we also managed to walk light). The staff remembered me by sight, which room I was from, and on my birthday they showered congratulations, it was very pleasant)
3. Cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned daily, everything is clean and tidy. The maid remembered what time we usually leave, and did not bother us, cleaned up after we left.
4. There is everything you need — a free safe, clothes hangers, fresh towels, a kettle and tea with coffee, water. The only thing was that there were no brushes and paste, but we had our own. Perhaps they are given out without problems at the request, I do not know.
5. Super breakfasts! The buffet, there is always something to choose from, everything is very tasty. And the place is super — on the terrace overlooking the city and the sea.
There are also brochures with different excursions, the prices seemed quite normal, but we have already bought our own, for about the same price.
In general, when we return to Istanbul, we will definitely stay here again

A good breakfast and sound insulation in the room were important to me: expectations were met 100%.
Plus: polite and hospitable staff, daily cleaning, 2 bottles of water in the room every day too.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city👍

Excellent staff, clean, good breakfast by Turkish standards, excellent Wi-Fi, well-functioning air conditioning, Underfloor heating in the bathroom, therefore there is no mold and humidity. The rooms are small. The shopping area. The entrance to the hotel is inconspicuous.

Guys, we need to go urgently.
In 10 years of traveling to Istanbul, I have not met a better hotel. Since Movenpick is 5-star (but it is supposed to be by status).
The Russian-speaking staff is extremely friendly. Turkish tea and coffee are always served. They will communicate with you in a kind, sincere way.
The breakfast is excellent (not as usual in the city - when there is nothing to eat). The rooms are clean, quiet and dry. The beds are comfortable. The plumbing is not broken. 2 bottles of water are brought every day. You are not afraid of thirst.
2 days before our departure, we found a plate of fruit in the room.
It was very pleasant.
I just take off my hat in front of the hotel.
The review is for love. Without any there.

We arrived early in the morning, the lady at the reception turned on the fool, did not want to put us in a room for an additional fee. The attitude towards customers is, to put it mildly, indifferent. We immediately moved to the hotel opposite, not wanting to experience negativity during further stay.

I went to Istanbul for the first time, I chose a hotel for a long time. I chose this hotel and was not disappointed. Top-level hotel service, cleanliness, breakfast. Any question or request is resolved quickly, you just have to ask, ask at the reception. Transfers, excursions at very affordable prices. I took excursions on the site, it was expensive, I did not know that the hotel provides these services. After that, I used the services of the hotel. I was very pleased!!!
