The museum is interesting even without reading the novel, it contains everyday objects, places on the map, photos, even soundtracks. It's all very atmospheric. And the museum is located in the same area where the novel took place, you can walk to Nisantasi along the paths of the hero of the novel. But the most amazing thing is the attention to detail with which the exposition was assembled. Even in the novel, in my opinion, it is mentioned that this is a tribute to all the small original museums around the world.

A touching museum with vintage items from life in Istanbul in the 70s. Great audio guide. If you come with a book of this work. Admission is free

Orhan Pamuk has written a wonderful novel with a poetic reflection on lost time. This Proustian melancholy, which the author was inspired by, comes to life within the walls of the museum. Two or three hours of free time and an audio guide are all you need to immerse yourself in the deep personal history of the main character and the whole country.

500 lire in May 2025. Free of charge to the bearer of the book. I have an e-book, they wouldn't let me in for free. Very inhospitable. Although I also bought it for money. And she showed me the page for the stamp - they also drew it in the e-book. It's a pity, of course. I only managed to take a picture of the cigarette butts)))

An entourage place, everything is very beautifully decorated, with a soul, there is an audio guide, be sure to take 10 lire, the entrance is 300 lire. BUT if you haven't read the work, it may not be very interesting, since the whole story is about the book. An hour later, it became boring for me with a guide, about 80 showcases, for each guide tells about 2 minutes. Therefore, the story is for an amateur

I've been to the Museum of Innocence twice, once before reading the original novel, and once after. This museum operates in two modes: as a museum of the everyday history of Istanbul in the 70s and 80s and as a literary museum. You don't have to be familiar with Roman to feel the nostalgic vibe of this place. Tall cabinets filled with trinkets dear to the hearts of some strangers, art objects and Pamuk's messages in the form of quotations from the book. This is a very holistic and amazing project in its concept. For fans of the author, it is mandatory to visit. They also have a nice shop with no silly souvenirs, but with items related only to the theme of the museum.

This is one of the most amazing museums. I listened to the book when I was going on a trip. But it is not necessary to visit the museum. The audio guide in Russian allows you to feel the atmosphere quite well and be filled with the necessary knowledge. I stood in front of the shop windows and admired the composition. What kind of work has been done and most importantly, it is not completed. That is, the museum will be interesting to visit in a few years. And for the purpose of rethinking, and in order to finish the new storefronts. For me, this museum is a love story. Men to a woman, a writer to Istanbul, a museum creator to his work

Lovely, not a museum! For those who love vintage, they can enjoy the atmosphere of old Istanbul, who are fans of Orhan Pamuk's novel "The Museum of Innocence" - immerse themselves again in the vicissitudes of the book, and those who are interested in the organization of museum business - admire the idea and embodiment! Remember that on the last page of the book there is a ticket to this museum - no matter in what language. 65+ discounts

If you have not read the book, then you will not understand what you have seen a little. That's what tourists who have already visited museums say. But even without reading the book, you will still feel the art.

Three floors of antique household utensils and children's toys. If you are not familiar with the author, do not waste time and money. Not worth the time spent. I do not recommend visiting.

I was impressed by a huge showcase with hundreds of cigarette butts and mysterious forty-year-old visitors with silent longing in their eyes, who present themselves as heroines of Pamuk's novel
