We were on Friday, it turned out that there were no guides on Friday. In my opinion, the National Museum of the History of Kyrgyzstan should be ashamed that they do not have guides, audio guides. As a result, they didn't understand much on their own.

I came to the museum at the end of November 2021, got to its opening after a long restoration and free admission. The museum staff, from security guards to the caretaker behind the hall, are polite and friendly. The museum is large, with several floors, clean everywhere, there are many exhibits - gradation by historical epochs. If you do not have time to study the history of the country on your own, then do not regret ordering a guide - the impression will remain complete and voluminous. Among the disadvantages and unexpected: on weekends, the queue at the museum can be like a mausoleum, so it's better to approach 10 minutes before the opening.

At the entrance, we were greeted by smiling girls, told us how to get into the wardrobe, and sweetly answered questions. The museum itself is generally interesting. My wife liked it. And I liked the very comfortable sofas on the third floor. I rested while my wife looked around🙂

The museum is of course large, but there is no guide, in order to get a guide, it turns out that you need to book in advance. We just walked around the museum and honestly didn't really look, one thing pleases me is that it's cool and comfortable to be in the building. The elevator is working, and the museum administration is minus, because the guide is not available when tourists arrive.

The Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic is located on the central square of Bishkek next to the Parliament of the Republic. The place is historical, previously there was a building of the republican KGB with an underground prison on this site. I was interrogated there myself.
