We recently visited The View — and it was unforgettable! We celebrated a birthday, the first visit, and the expectations were fully justified. The restaurant is located on the 28th floor of the Royal Plaza business Center, and the view of Minsk is simply breathtaking. I was especially impressed by the sunset — the city below was lit up with lights, and we were enjoying this sight from the cozy hall. The service was excellent: the hostess was greeted with a smile, led to a table by the window (booked in advance), the waiters were attentive and gave excellent recommendations on the menu. I especially liked the dishes: draniki with pike caviar are classics in an exquisite design; ear with cream, Foie Gras with caramelized pear, chocolate fondue for dessert— melts in your mouth; the original cocktail from the bartender perfectly complemented the evening. The prices are above average, but it is justified for such an atmosphere and service. Definitely recommend it for a romantic lunch/dinner or a special occasion!

Premium restaurant with affordable prices ;) For a dinner in a similar place in Moscow or St. Petersburg, we would give three times more than here. And now, in order: Vivid impressions begin even before entering the restaurant - a ride in a panoramic elevator to the 28th floor with a view of the night (in our case) Minsk deserves special attention. At the entrance, we were immediately greeted by a hostess, conducted a mini-tour and offered to choose a comfortable table. We chose a window with a beautiful view of Svisloch. It took us a long time to decide on the choice of dishes - the waiter patiently prompted and told us in detail about the cooking technology and the ingredients of the dishes. The food arrived quickly enough - we ordered only hot and cold snacks. Everything was very tasty and refined. If you will be in Minsk, I strongly recommend visiting The View at least once!

It could have been, if not for one THING: the overhead light is on in the restaurant hall, although not at the maximum level. Because of this, you can see the reflection of the bar in the panoramic windows, rather than the urban landscape. Due to the lack of spot lighting (ideally small lamps on each table), the atmosphere of intimacy is completely lost, there is little space between the tables, if you are interested, you can listen to what your neighbors are talking about. -Vitello tonnato did not come to me, I was not enthusiastic and did not want to look up from the dish, but maybe I just like veal less. 🤷🏼♀️ - Dessert time. Naturally, she asked what the branded "The View" was, but immediately dismissed the option. A dessert with a rich composition, where Borodino bread is mixed among the ingredients, remains on the menu. The one I chose was good. - In the last hour of the 2.5 hours of our stay, the background music was turned off altogether. In general, it feels like a scoop, visually so accurate. -A wine list with the lowest price of 120p ($42) and a maximum of 600p ($210) per Bottle - well, think for yourself - I only liked the service. The overall impression is 7 out of 10.

A pleasant place from all sides. First of all (this is implied in the name) - gorgeous views of Minsk from a height of about 90 meters. I went to the bathroom and asked to order Finnish cream soup for me (the menu says salmon and halibut), my friends were warned that there would still be bacon, but we thought it was either a little or for decoration, they brought the dish, it turned out 80% of the ingredients, besides broth, it was greasy, nasty bacon. Waiter Dmitry is a wonderful professional in his field. He tactfully asked if we had a festive occasion, and was always attentive to our table: he updated drinks and dishes, quickly and accurately. The food is delicious, the portions are standard, they bring everything very quickly and promptly. There are enough items on the menu for both food and alcohol. The View restaurant made the best impressions. Reservation of a table is required in advance. We were only miraculously lucky to book a table the day before (April 30th) for the daytime on May 1st. The atmosphere, the panoramic view, the service, the serving of dishes and their taste - everything was top notch. On our 5-day trip to Belarus, it was the best restaurant by Moscow standards)) From the menu, we stopped at the "National cuisine" section and did not lose! The desserts were great too! As a native Minsk resident, I decided to show my friends from Arkhangelsk our city from a height – I took them to "The View". The view from the observation deck is, of course, the main hit: the guests were impressed by the panorama of Minsk. The restaurant itself is atmospheric, stylish, with pleasant service. The prices are above average (this is a "typical" place!), the cuisine is a good European level (we had breakfast – cheesecakes with blueberries, cooked perfectly). But honestly: you pay here primarily for the location and the "wow effect". For such an occasion, bringing guests and giving them a beautiful evening over the city is ideal. They claimed that all the tables were occupied. While we were having lunch, for two hours from 17 to 19, all the tables at those windows were empty. The unfriendly tone of the administrators created the feeling that they were doing me a favor and, as it turned out, they were actually lying. Either marketing is designed to create the illusion of employment and unavailability, or it was necessary to somehow cunningly beg for an empty table.
