The artificial archipelago of The World ("The World") is located a few kilometers from the coastline of Dubai. It consists of 260 islands, the general outlines of which resemble the contours of the continents of the Earth. The project has increased the length of the city's beaches by about 232 kilometers. The islands bear the names of various countries and cities, as well as the names of famous personalities.: Australia, Buenos Aires and Michael Schumacher Island, which was presented to the famous athlete by the Ruler of Dubai.
