We stayed at this beautiful hotel in July 2024. The hotel is located in silence, with excellent panoramic views of the city and the landscape of the green mountain. The hotel is located at a distance from the sea coast, but a free shuttle runs several times a day, both to the beach and back. Of course, you can also get to the sea on foot, but the path will not be close and with the highway crossing in one place. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and smiling. A very large staff and everything is in place. We were met at the reception by a young man who speaks Russian well. He explained everything, noted important points, and in one phrase provided all the necessary information about the hotel in an informative and accessible manner. Upon check-in, we left a deposit of 2,000 baht. This deposit can be used to pay for a mini bar in the room or a restaurant. We got the room on the 5th floor (505). A hotel employee escorted us to the room and clearly showed us how to open the room, there is a trick with the entrance - first you need to lift the handle up, then insert the card with the down arrow and remove the card, after which the door to the room will open. The sound insulation in the room is perfect. The room is very decent in size I was very pleased with the large number of storage spaces. With such a thoughtful room layout, we are meeting for the first time! A good ceiling air conditioner, with adjustment on the wall, put 25 - slept great! Dark Blackout curtains were also a great guarantee of a good night's sleep! A large number of Euro standard sockets and different lighting. The room has everything you need - a refrigerator with a mini bar, a kettle with a tea set, 2 0.5 bottles of water (supplemented daily), a safe, a TV (3 Russian channels), bathrobes, slippers (reusable slates), a hair dryer (I will write about it in the disadvantages). The toilet and shower area are separated. The bathroom has a rain shower, as well as a full bathroom. From the filling - 2 large towels, 2 small towels, a foot towel, wall-mounted shower gel and shampoo. The sink and a large mirror are located directly in the room area. There you can also find lumpy hand soap, dry wipes, ear sticks, shower caps. For lovers of relaxation, the hotel has a fairly large outdoor pool with a Jacuzzi in which warm water. The relaxation area around the pool is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Many deck chairs are in the water, but there are also deck chairs and comfortable chairs on land. The pool itself is very interestingly designed, overflows from the lobby, lighting in the evening. Some rooms are on the 1st floor and have their own access to the pool. In a secluded corner, there is a shower area and toilets. There is also a bar and a restaurant in the pool area. You can have a snack and a drink, something relaxing without leaving the pool and put it on the bill of the room. Pool towels can be taken at the bar, but it opens at 10 a.m., so if you need earlier, you can contact the reception and take an appointment there. Also at the reception, you can take towels for the sea. WI-FI works perfectly throughout the hotel. Breakfast is served in the restaurant by the pool, you can sit outside or in a semi-open room. When entering the restaurant, it is necessary to name your room of residence and, if desired, immediately choose in which version you would like to taste the eggs. They will prepare it for you and bring it to the table. The set of dishes for breakfast is very decent, you definitely won't stay hungry. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, during this period the range of dishes changed! The coffee beans from the machine and tea remained unchanged. You can't really walk around the area around the hotel - the private sector. Nearby there is only a small shop with everything you need and a local cafe. Therefore, this hotel is a full-fledged oasis. I've settled in and I don't need to go anywhere, only if I go to the sea. During the entire stay, we did not find the disadvantages of this place, but only complemented the advantages. I definitely recommend it! DISADVANTAGES! The wife noted that at this level of the hotel, there is a very flimsy folding hair dryer. When working (drying), he was constantly disconnected from the movement of them, he had to constantly adjust the outlet (contact), since the hair dryer works directly from the mains and does not have its own on and off button.

Upon arrival on the evening of 9.11 we were accommodated in a room with a view, !!! attention!!!, on the lobby) We haven't had this before! In the ranking of the worst room in the history of travel, “Yama Hotel” takes the first place. The loggia was a kind of "aquarium", covered with glass, behind which you could admire the lobby and the people who were there. The loggia did not open at all (it was specially blocked, so that fresh air could not enter the room. The air conditioner was working, but the bed linen was damp due to the unventilated room. Actually, I understand that the hotel has about 3 rooms with a view of the lobby, and 3 with a view of the parking lot, where there is constant noise from cars coming and going, but at least you can go out on the balcony and breathe a little. I think that such disgusting rooms should cost less and the person should be warned. The hotel should be ashamed to settle in such squalor. After going down to the reception, she demanded to change this misunderstanding, to which she received the answer that there were no available rooms (excellent), eventually, on the 3rd day, they moved to a room on the 4th floor with mountain views, BUT again a surprise: there are a lot of noisy air conditioners on the balcony, which interfere with a relaxing time on the balcony. Also, all faucets flowed in the room, mirrors were not washed at all, and the walls were covered with dried stains from previous guests, which are easy to clean, but the staff does not consider it necessary. The furniture in the room needs to be repaired. Water was brought every other time, 4 towels were brought for two + a foot towel, but they were not changed until they left them on the floor themselves. The bed linen was not changed once during the 10 days of our stay. The plumbing was being cleaned. But, in general, the rooms in the hotel are different from what is shown in the pictures, keep in mind. We are very disappointed. The breakfasts are good, there was enough food, you definitely won't be hungry, this is a plus, however, a couple of times you got sour fruits, but in the heat, this is probably possible. The area is clean, cleaned regularly, the pool is cleaned every evening, the staff is friendly.

This is my fifth hotel in Thailand (out of probably three dozen hotels in general where I have ever been) and it is 100% the best hotel in my life. Everything is fine: rooms, swimming pool, cafe, service, set of services... The location may bother you, but it also has its advantages. The first and main thing is the price. Accommodation in a similar hotel by the sea would definitely cost three times more expensive. Secondly, there are excellent cafes nearby, which are also cheaper than similar ones on the coast. Also, the free transfer to Kata solves the issues with the location, and of course you can always take a taxi for 200 baht to all the nearest beaches or, again, go closer (and cheaper) to the Old Town. Never move in here. Behind the smiles there is a criminal syndicate and ordinary thieves. They lived here from March 13 to March 23, 2023. On the last day before the eviction, $400 was raked out of the cosmetic bag. I understand that it was my own fault and I shouldn't have left the money outside the safe, but the cosmetic bag was not in a prominent place.
