If it is important for you to live in Istanbul on a budget and close to the historical center, I recommend this hotel. Everything is quite modest, but acceptable, all the attractions are very close, there are many cafes (they are expensive, in non-tourist places it is half cheaper), there are supermarkets.
The only negative was that it was cold in the room, but it was February, we froze the first night, then the air conditioner was adjusted and everything was fine.
In general, it's great for an overnight stay!

January 29
We visited it in September, we liked everything, it was on a budget, the embankment by the Marmara Sea is nearby, and all the sights are within walking distance, as well as restaurants and a minimarket nearby. If you order with breakfast, you will go to another hotel nearby for breakfast, in a hill))

April 7
We stayed at this hotel in early April for 4 nights. The hotel is very tired.
The sights are close, but the hotel is difficult to find. Located in a narrow alley, the hotel is not accessible.
There's mold and rust in the bathroom, and there's nowhere to put things. The lid on the toilet is broken, it falls off when you sit down and get up. The fan is like a jet plane, if you turn on the light at night, all the neighbors will wake up. The water in the shower cannot be adjusted. The watering can is not attached to the wall, everything is broken.
Bed linen and towels are a separate topic. The linen is very old and stained. The mattress is stained the color of asphalt. The sheet is narrow, and you have to sleep on a bare mattress. The towels are small, the synthetics are rolled up, they do not absorb water at all. It feels like you're drying yourself with a plastic bag. There is shampoo and gel in the shower.
Why do you write that there are breakfasts? The breakfasts are in a completely different hotel. Written from 8-10. They begin to be served by 9:00, boiled eggs, salads from yesterday's leftovers. There are not enough places. At 9 o'clock everything is busy, at 10:00 there is nothing left. If you need to go somewhere early in the morning, then think about breakfast in advance.
Constantly, around the clock, someone is coming and going, it is impossible to sleep. I can hear everything, all the voices and footsteps. The room was on the 4th stage, the stairs were very steep and slippery, it was raining outside.
Those who write about just spending the night. I won't be able to spend the night properly.
In general, one of the advantages is a shower gel and friendly Russian-speaking staff.
