A great place to relax, friendly staff and a very authentic onsen with its own swimming pool. You can also book private baths for family visits without prying eyes. A special recommendation is to order a traditional kaiseki dinner for a full immersion in Japanese culture. The breakfast included in the room rate is also traditional and very substantial.

An extraordinary historical Japanese hotel. It is about 1000 years old. Not all rooms have a toilet and a bathroom. If the toilet is already necessary nowadays, then you should not chase after the bathroom, because after visiting the onsen you take a shower. We took a 2-room suite, there was a tea table and chairs without legs in the hall, and in the second room there were 2 child-sized massage chairs-we couldn't fit into them. I was very upset that we were so tired after arriving from the road, and there were no beds/mats-they were laid out only during dinner. And they cleaned up during breakfast-and I really wanted to lie around some more . Of course, this is very unusual for us. Be sure to take the national Japanese dinner and breakfast-yes, the food is unusual and unusual, but it's worth a try. One day was enough for us. My friends said they would stay for a week because they really liked the hot springs. It was a little hot for us, we only sat for 15 minutes.
