Excellent lunch menu, affordable, tasty and balanced.
I would totally recommend this place for lunch or dinner, however keep in mind that they only offer the lunch menu in weekdays 12:00-16:00.

Services and the interior are good (Asian eclectic, don’t expect anything particularly Japanese). Food was okay, loved the homemade juices and desserts. Soups/tempura are tasty, but for the price paid it’s definitely not worth it.

A very atmospheric Japanese cafe. It is not expensive and delicious. It's not exactly wow delicious, but still. For example, I took an omelet and eel roll, it was very salty. I guess they overdid it with soy sauce. But the second course with rice and chicken was very tasty. We also tried it with a friend there, moti. They are very tasty, but far from the original, because the rice dough should stretch, but it did not stretch.
By the way, they also gave us a free snack of cucumbers in sesame oil. It was very pleasant and delicious. The waiters are very nice.

We love this place very much. It's expensive, but it's worth it. Delicious lemonades, sushi, ramen. The staff is always polite and friendly. Sometimes you can't wait to get to the second floor. It would be great to make several sets of "just a little bit", introductory ones. I want to try everything at once. I recommend bringing the sauce to the rice in a separate bowl - it sometimes seems bland.

For almost two years now, we have been going to Tokyo very often. We celebrate birthdays, work shifts and just come to have a delicious meal:))
We love this place with all our heart ❤️ The staff is wonderful, the Japanese chef is amazing, sometimes my girlfriend (knows Japanese) can even chat with him a little while he makes sushi in the hall))

I ordered rolls from Tokyooo here. To be honest, I only ate it because I was very hungry.
You can look at the food yourself: at least two small pieces of fish, everything is cut crookedly. The thickness of the rolls is fine. They fall because in places the base is less than a centimeter thick. And there was a bone on the surface of one of the rolls. Yes, it was small, but she was just lying there waiting for me. According to the restaurant, is it a decoration? Or is it a disregard for those who order delivery?
Earlier, three weeks ago, my wife and I took a set of temaki with us and then also noted that the fish seemed to be one and a half times less. Dear, well, you'd better raise the prices a little if it's about saving money, but don't slide into such obscenity.
As I used to love this place and recommended it to my friends and acquaintances, now I will not recommend it to anyone in any case. I have not received such a disorder as today from food for a long time.

Great restaurant! A large selection of dishes on the menu. And this tape with rolling sushi is just awesome. We ordered
noodles and pork from the menu and took a couple of plates from the tape. Everything is very tasty, the fish is tender and saturated. I tried mochi here for the first time, incredibly tender and delicious!) probably nowhere else in Yerevan can you find such delicious ...)

From the above: A hearty and delicious set, similar to a Bowl - where there are several types of fish and rice. Sushi that beckons you at a spinning table.. one of the novelties was the bunny ice cream souffle, it was cold and more solid like ice cream.

The best rolls in Yerevan, really delicious! And also interactive -) plates that go around in circles, it's fun and very tasty cocktails. There is one caveat, somehow we sat down on the second floor - it's quite stuffy there, I don't recommend it, it's better to specify what you want on the first floor when ordering.

We used to go to this place often, but now we are extremely disappointed with the service.
We made an order, but its execution was delayed for an unreasonably long time. For example, miso soup, which is usually made quickly, was not brought for more than half an hour. Despite the fact that the staff promised that the order would be ready any minute, we had to wait and wait, and then wait again.
And as a result, the miso soup was taken out half-cooled. I had to give it back to warm it up again.
When the dishes finally arrived, there were no apologies or any offers to compensate for the inconvenience. It was just, "Here, eat."
When the next dishes were brought, the waiters forgot to remove the accumulated plates.
When it was time to pay for the order, the waitress just handed us the check without any words or apologies for the delay, just a dry: "Here's your check, goodbye."
Come here if you are very bored at home and you want to sit without food somewhere else for a VERY long time

Отличное место, маленький уголок Токио в Ереване. Заведение открыл японец, шеф и повара тоже японцы. В заведении есть разные японские еда и напитки, но главная фишка заведения это конвейер. Шеф готовит суши(иногда в зале, иногда на кухне) и выставляет на конвейер. Дальше уже берешь с конвейера. Тарелочки разных цветов и соотвественно разной цены. Есть и тунец, и угорь, и лосось. Все, что душе угодно. Прайс не самый дешевый, на двоих сидели на 20к драм, но тут плата за аутентичность и вкус.

We ordered ramen, sushi set and gainmeichu. It was delicious, but sushi in the shape of a cone is inconvenient to eat - first you eat the filling, then the rice, but you want everything together :)

If you are looking for delicious Japanese food and great service, Tokyooo is the right place.
A few days ago, my friends and I had a very delicious dinner there.
Seafood is very fresh, there is a very large selection of sake, and the prices correspond to the quality.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a very beautiful and diverse conveyor belt, the only one in Yerevan and a chef from Japan is cooking sushi from fresh fish right above you👌🏻

Прекрасное место, хожу не первый раз, всегда получаю только хорошие впечатления.
Суши очень вкусные, большие. Выбор десертов совсем небольшой, но ориентация заведения и не на них :)
Есть небольшое алкогольное меню, то есть, в целом, подойдет и как перекусить быстро (я так например делаю с кофе и десертом), так и посидеть вечером компанией/с семьей.
Отдельная любовь к рамёну, очень сытный, вкусный и согревающий в похолодания :)
Очень приятные сотрудники, всегда с улыбкой, всегда помогут с выбором, очень оперативно принимают заказ и вообще обслуживают.

The best Japanese restaurant in Yerevan!
I want to emphasize that it is Japanese, not pan-Asian cuisine. One of the owners is a Japanese living in Armenia.
You will not find Philadelphia and California rolls familiar in the CIS here, but you will find sushi, sashimi, gyoza, ramen, don and many more authentic Japanese dishes.
Some may find the prices too expensive, but try to find dishes with fresh fish cheaper in Yerevan.
I go here for lunch a couple of times a week for six months for sure (1300-2800dram). I recommend lunches with karaage, ramen, myself, and for fish lovers - kaysen chirashi don.
Recently, the owner of this restaurant treated us to homemade Japanese curry, which will soon be introduced to the menu. Perhaps this will be my favorite warming dish in winter.
In general, I recommend you to visit, especially if you have always dreamed of visiting Japan to try real Japanese cuisine.

Good and fresh sushi, an interesting serving system with a "conveyor" and payment by the color of the plates. There is an opportunity to order takeaway food (we took curry with chicken - it was very tasty), there is not enough home delivery option - we would order every week! Someone from the locals told me about this restaurant as the best in Yerevan. I got a little tired of Armenian cuisine and decided to eat rolls. The only thing I liked about the restaurant is its beautiful and atmospheric design: everything is very Japanese, a beautiful girl (Armenian) in a cute kimono at the entrance, an interesting presentation in the form of a conveyor on which the cook puts dishes. But, after all, people go to such places to eat.
Let's start with the fact that this is the first Japanese restaurant where I didn't see such world-famous rolls as California and Philadelphia on the menu, and in general they have a problem with rolls. They serve mostly sashimi and visually their fish is not the first freshness (although it tastes fine in principle and then there were no problems). There are only a few types of 2-3 types of rolls on the conveyor. Basically, these are huge tubes with rice (about 4 times more than those that you can find in normal Japanese restaurants) in which the filling is hidden somewhere deep inside. I ate a few of these and waited for something more decent, but in an hour (!!!) nothing new has arrived. I called the waiter and told him what rolov would like and asked for a recommendation, which set would I order, since I was already tired of waiting. The waiter informed me that they have all the sets with sashimi, but they will make me the rolls I want and put them on the conveyor in the near future. Well, well, I chose rolls from the menu (did you at least make pictures?) and waited. After half an hour, I got tired of waiting and called the waiter again. As a result, I ordered tempura shrimps (they taste good, it looks like the ones that should be) in order to eat at least a little. As a result, I sat in this institution for more than 2 hours, did not eat properly and spent 45+ dollars. I recommend everyone to stay away from this "best Japanese restaurant in town". For such money, you can have a great meal in the most famous restaurants in Armenia.

Очень вкусные бизнес ланчи! Определенно советуем ланч-комбо с «мисо рамен» и комбо «кайсен дон» - бульон был очень насыщенный и сытный, рис сварен идеально, морепродукты все 3 раза посещения были свежие и вкусные (особенно понравились тунец и лосось). Отдельное спасибо официантам - отличное обслуживание и поддержание атмосферы Японии ✨

I read the reviews and was surprised by the negative ones .maybe we were so lucky that day))
We accidentally walked into this restaurant while passing by. And very successfully . My husband and I are one of the most fastidious people in food. So, trying the 4th roll, my husband said "how is this even possible". Bearing in mind that all kinds of tested rolls were very tasty . The bill arrived quickly , and the change too .
The only drawback was that the toilet was not working . But we were so pleased with the fish that it did not spoil our mood in any way .
My husband said that these are the most delicious rolls in his life) Thank you for a great evening to this institution!
