I had experience working in other centers, where they deliberately formed the impression and intimidated us, as parents, that the child needed all kinds of correction at once, otherwise he would not "rebuild/ catch up.... and so on." I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Tomatis Center at 37 Gursky Street, in particular to neuropsychologist Grishanovich Raisa. We addressed the problem of frequent tantrums in a 2.5-year-old child. Undesirable behavior was in public places, in everyday life, especially when in contact with strangers (kindergarten, hairdresser, polyclinic). At the very first lesson, the specialist found an approach to the child. He calmed down quickly enough and studied with interest. For comparison, in kindergarten, he cried every day for the entire 30 minutes that they were ready to leave him there, no one could find an approach to him, neither the tutors nor the kindergarten teacher-psychologist. We attended classes at the Tomatis Center 2 times a week for a little over 2 months. As a result, the child became more obedient, calmly rides public transport, stopped being afraid to get a haircut at the hairdresser, and returned to kindergarten without tantrums and tears after a break.

Competent and professional psychological assistance is especially important for children and adolescents with special needs. My daughter has Asperger's syndrome (ASD), which means difficulties in communicating with peers, unavoidable problems in secondary school, and a number of everyday aspects (which, as it turned out, can be corrected through proper and systematic psychological work). Besides, she's a teenager (teen moms know what a "teen crisis" is)). That is, it is not easy for a psychologist to work with her. It would seem that it is not a problem to find psychological help in Minsk today. But in fact, sometimes people who do not have at least related specialized education (medical, pedagogical), "after courses", call themselves psychologists. There are also many who are not competent enough to solve certain psychological problems (for example, they do not have experience working with teenagers, they do not fully understand what autism spectrum disorders are, etc.), but they undertake to solve them. In our case, "just talking" is not an option at all: going to such "specialists" is just a waste of money and time. And in general, with many of the questions that parents of ASD, ADHD, etc. face, the child, as the experience shows, my and familiar mothers, today especially have nowhere to turn. Fortunately (and there is no exaggeration here) we managed to find Tomatis. The level of knowledge of the specialists here is really very high, the work is carried out systematically, and not spontaneously and chaotically, as with many psychologists whose daughter studied before. And, as a result, there are noticeable results. Anxiety has decreased, stereotypical movements have practically disappeared, and some behavioral patterns have disappeared. The child has become more open to communication and adapted to reality. I would like to thank the specialists of the Tomatis Correctional Center for Child Psychology and Speech Development for their attention to children and parents, and for the systematic and professional solution of the issues they are being asked. They can advise on various forms of work, including with other specialists (nutritionists, psychiatrists, and even career guidance specialists) that a child needs. Unfortunately, the state does not care about your children, and only thanks to such centers that keep sole proprietors, children can use modern methods of education and correction.
