It was interesting, especially the crystal chandeliers and paintings painted by the sultan.

To plunge into the life of the harem! Take cash, the cash register is always free. And take a full ticket, without a harem there is essentially nothing to see.

I was saddened by the fact that now there is no separate ticket to enter the Harem. Because we took the excuria to Topkapi and the entrance to the harem is not included there. Only combined tickets to different sections for 650-550 liras are available at the ticket office

Overrated. Yes, there is a great history, a beautiful territory, a lot of expositions, but it is not impressive, and the ticket costs more than 2t and prices have been raised since the new year

A historical place with a centuries-old history, it is worth a visit, but what is characteristic is that there are almost nothing inside, unlike our museum complexes

Harem – a visit to the collective farm bath Harem – visit to the collective farm bathhouse A visit to the Harem involved an invasion of the pavilion for the filming of an erotic film. In fact, the feeling was akin to visiting a women's bathhouse on a millionaire collective farm. Yes. There are a lot of things. There is even pathos – gilded mirrors. Painted walls and ceilings. And not only in Arabic script. The chambers of the "Valide Sultan", that is, the "Sultan's mother", are provided with paintings akin to Versailles and Bourbon France in general. Of course, the chambers of the Sultan's daughters and his favorites are of interest. But the actual rooms for copulation are given away by a cool brothel in a seaside sanatorium. Of course, it is gratifying that this is all for one person – a lot, but nothing more. One of the most remarkable discoveries was that with all this peasant household there was a crowd of eunuchs. Next to the entrance to the harem is their own location – in the basement they have a very decent hostel, with heating, bunks, their own bath-washroom and even a room for smoking hookahs. In general, the boys lived well, but there were no opportunities to be satisfied. Only to satisfy. Therefore, you should not envy them. Despite the separate price of a visit to the Harem of 15 lire, it is worth paying such money only in order to report on a visit to the Harem.

50 euros per ticket, I think, is very expensive. Don't go in winter, it's cold and expensive. There are few impressions. In the hot summer, this is probably the time when you want to give any money to hide in the cool. To be honest, there's not much to watch. But the mullah sings beautifully. It's much nicer in tanks

The entrance costs 1,500 lire, which is so expensive for me. A beautiful territory, a palace, many exhibits of clothes and weapons are presented. It is necessary to lay 3-4 hours for a visit.

A delightful palace with an oriental flavor. I was surprised by the austerity of the harem's premises. At the same time, the sultan's chambers are luxurious.

Well, this is just some kind of fairy tale, if you like history like me, you need to plan to visit right all day, but just take a walk for at least 4 hours

Beautiful Istanbul, no less beautiful is the Top Cape Palace. But I came here with a dream and hope - to see the Sultan's treasures. I was very upset - the treasury is under restoration (November 2018), only a small part of the famous treasures are on display in the museum pavilion. You won't see the most basic ones. I hope the restoration will not last for many years. Istanbul's most important treasures are its cats🤗

It is worth going only to the harem, but the ticket is included only in the total price. It's a little expensive. It is better to visit in the first hour after opening or a couple of hours before closing. The rest of the time there are a lot of people. Tuesday is a day off.

It's beautiful, but it's better not to take food there. It's expensive, tasteless, and it smells strongly of the toilet that's nearby.

If you are not a fan of the Magnificent Century, then there is absolutely nothing to do here. I love museums, but this palace is just a disappointment. Don't even expect any luxury, as in Peterhof - most of the rooms are empty, there are sofas and pillows in some places. Some of the premises are closed. The harem is just as half-empty. A beautiful observation deck, but beautiful views in Istanbul can be found for free. The price is not even close to the quality. It's better to drink this money or go to the hammam)

I have read many reviews. I absolutely agree! The very high ticket price is 500 lire without a harem. There's just nothing to watch. I'm from St. Petersburg myself. We do not have such prices for foreign tourists in any museum. And our museums are no match for this one. There is simply no palace as such. Separate empty buildings. Without a special interior. There is an order of magnitude more information on the Internet! Read it, go to the entrance and you will understand everything!

a very beautiful and magnificent museum in everything. Here you can really walk from morning to evening. My wife and I came here for two days - sometimes just to the museum, then to the church of Irina, then to the harem, then to the archaeological museum. As a result, there is a sea, even an ocean, of impressions. I'm not talking about all the photos that were taken on the territory of this museum. Crowds of people certainly interfere with a few, but they also wanted to see the whole museum. Be sure to come back next time and take a walk in the museum.

I have dreamed of seeing Topkapi Palace for a very long time and my dream has come true. On August 30, 2019, on this day, Turks celebrate "Zafer Bayram", i.e. Victory Day! Public transport in the city was free, but the entrance to the museum was for a day)) I thought we were just standing in a huge queue for tickets at the entrance. But I want to say that despite the huge number of tourists from China, Arab countries, and Europe, we stood in line at the checkout for no more than 5 minutes, passing through metal detectors and scanners at the entrance, well, maybe 10 minutes. I must say right away, do not skimp on the guide if you want to get the most emotions and information. Get yourself an individual guide, otherwise the experience may just be ruined. I, in turn, squeezed the money for the guide, saying that I know everything myself, but I don't. I didn't get the expected emotions, alas.

I paid 990 liras (Topkaps + harem), and for Turkish citizens 200 liras, the mood immediately turned sour. I went because I wanted to for a long time. But, unfortunately, there is nothing to talk about at all. Just stone rooms and buildings. If you expect to see a harem like in a Magnificent Century, do not waste money and time. Just a stone room. 2 stars only for a couple of beautiful exhibition spaces. A huge territory with a garden, basically the whole territory is greenery and a garden. A couple of museums about nothing. A waste of time and money

I visited this courtyard with my wife on 10/23/19. I was very upset with the expensive entrance ticket, and the fact that a third of the expositions were closed to the public, the armory and the treasury. In the end, I watched everything I could. The expositions are very sparse. And apparently some of them do not belong to this palace in any way. There are a lot of visitors, the price is very high, there is not much to visit.... I do not recommend it for visiting.
