I am glad that the house, as an architectural monument, has been taken under the protection of the Government of Kazakhstan.
According to my mother's memoirs: "My great-grandfather Iskhak was from the village of Maskara, Malmyzhsky district, Vyatka province; he went to Kazakhstan and became a famous merchant."

A good example of preserving a historic building and integrating it into current activities. Part of the house is given over to a needlework store, where there is a huge assortment of fabrics and all sorts of various accessories at quite reasonable prices. There is a popular bank in another part, it has been renovated better.

A crooked building, well preserved. Pleases with the variety of colors in the facade decoration. The roof has an original shape with turrets and spires. Inside there is a fabric store and everything for sewing.

This is the story. It is pleasant, going inside, to feel that merchants lived here more than 100 years ago, who traded their goods in the same place. It's even breathtaking. The same feeling arises, as in St. Petersburg, when you walk through the palaces, realizing that nobles lived here, held balls, and now you can touch it.

Externally, although not pristine, the building has a very similar appearance. It is divided into two parts, in one of the parts there is a fabric store, and in the other a bank. Everyone knows what a bank is without me, but everything is very decent with fabrics... The manager is a very businesslike and responsible person, which speaks for itself about thrift and respect for the history of the city.

Thanks to the administration of the building for the preservation of the original appearance. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer such buildings every year.
In terms of the quality of services, I cannot say that I am very satisfied. One day I brought a jacket to the atelier for hemming. I had to come back twice to have it redone.
