The benches inside the station are still old, and there is always a queue at the ticket office, because at best there are two for the entire station. Parking near the station on the first line is almost impossible, since all the seats are occupied by taxi drivers waiting for non-locals to charge them 2 or even 3 prices, as in all cities.

It's cool in winter, it's hard to heat. There are quite a few homeless people and strange personalities. There is a toilet in the basement, and storage rooms. The seats in the waiting rooms are already tired, there are few outlets. In general, after the renovation, the station has become much better, but there is still something to improve. Trains in the Republic of Kazakhstan are often late, be prepared to wait. Announcements in two languages are made regularly.

The information board is the main reason why my rating is 3 stars! They do not provide information on which way the train arrived, if it is late or not, for some reason it is not . Although earlier it was all indicated on the scoreboard, where there were simple light bulbs (the old USSR scoreboard). Now there is a new scoreboard, a huge TV, but information about trains is not being introduced. This is a question for the administration. The dispatcher announces delays and which way the train arrives, but the information on the scoreboard is not duplicated, it turns out that you only need to listen to the dispatcher, and if a person with disabilities? What should he do? How do I know that a train has arrived? Which way? Is there a delay? The board must contain complete and up-to-date information about train traffic. And there's just a standard schedule. And it would be more convenient if it was displayed online somewhere and called to find out about the train delay, "but unfortunately the call center does not have the information, no matter how paradoxical it may sound." Leaving home and arriving at the train station on time, rather than sitting and taking a seat in the waiting room, is very good, there is more free space, people are not nervous or waiting. After all, crowded waiting rooms are all due to train delays and the lack of online information about train delays among people. Hopefully, the administration will listen to people's feedback and wishes and improve the service soon.
