We have been here 3 times. And the first two times I really liked it, more than many places. Therefore, the choice for a cafe on his Birthday fell on him. I didn't really like it when two waitresses were whispering to each other, looking at me point-blank. I had unpleasant feelings from the service, although it usually doesn't really affect me in principle. It seems like small things: to bring cocktails to the children along with dessert, which I asked for when ordering. The cocktails arrived first. Actually, while we were reading the menu (I can't say for a long time), the waiter came up twice, after the second time I asked for time and that I would call myself when we were ready. In general, the festive mood was so-so. And finally (I'm not arguing, maybe it's a coincidence), my children and I had an upset stomach. Maybe I was unlucky that day. But I don't want to go there anymore.

Nice cafe, with huge portions and pleasant staff. Compared to Minsk prices, it's very cheap and delicious! We ordered a branded pizza, firstly it was super huge, secondly there was a lot of filling, thirdly the dough is delicious, it cannot be compared even with chain pizzerias.

I haven't been here for a long time, there is one advantage - they cook quickly and bring the order, but the quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired. The taste of all the dishes was salty for me, and their signature Marconi pizza was covered with pieces of boiled bacon instead of bacon, it's just creepy, now I won't eat pizza for a long time. On top of that, the coffee arrived in a dirty cup on the outside, and the handle was greasy. I don't know why this is, but I used to like this place, but now I won't go there anymore, and I won't recommend it to my friends.

It's cozy, especially outdoors. Friendly staff, delicious food, one disadvantage is the long serving of dishes. Pizza, drinks are served quickly, the rest of the dishes have to wait, but it's worth it!
You know, on one of the hot summer days, a girl with a dog (a very smart, well-mannered dog) came to the cafe (on the summer terrace). And they did not even think or try to refuse her request - to feed the dog, give him water. Yes, they were served at a separate table and no one remained indifferent to this act.

The Marconi Trattoria on Pobedy Avenue, 4 is a real find for connoisseurs of delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes on the menu and, of course, great pizzas. The ingredients are fresh, the dough is tender, and the combination of flavors is just great. The staff deserves the highest praise — fast and attentive service, always ready to help with the choice.
The interior creates a cozy Italian atmosphere, which adds a special charm to the visit. The restaurant is suitable for both family gatherings and romantic dinners.
The Marconi Trattoria is a great place to enjoy the taste of Italy without leaving Gomel. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. I am very glad that such a place exists in our city!

Food: potatoes with pork (everything was cooked in oil, which was used many times). Potatoes and meat stank of this oil. The piece of meat was large but tough.
We know that they give a 10% discount here in others.
We had a cake with a diameter of 15-20 cm.
We asked the waitress to light our candle and bring
it, and I asked if I could turn on the song, and they told me (we have the wrong place, we don't turn it on).
OK, when the bill was brought to us, there was no 10% discount.
They explained to us that we had chosen the option of taking out OUR OWN cake without music, and thus lost the option of a 10% discount.
In other words, for 51 rubles (10% of the receipt), they took OUR cake, rather a cake, stuck our 1 candle and returned it to us.
I also asked the waiter, are you kidding now? We were told in all seriousness- No.
The evening was completely ruined.
They left in shock 🙀
This is the first time I've encountered this.
The atmosphere in any institution is like a relationship with a person.
Either you feel cared for and comfortable and you want to continue communicating, or they didn't give a damn about you and your desires.: "If you don't like it, don't come"

The seating of the guests is very boring, if there are more than two of you, then everyone will have to leave the tables to let in the person sitting at the window. Those couples who were placed in the center of the hall feel like they are sitting on "dummy" tables and chairs. It looks more like a dining room. The kitchen didn't surprise me either. The choice of appetizers and salads is extremely poor. Ordered: salad with duck (it turned out to be sickly sweet) , with pork , it is also a lean taste.We love mashed soups very much, but here it is with taste : neither pumpkin with shrimps, nor broccoli with salmon is clearly not the same: one is too sweet and the shrimps are over-dried, and the other with salmon, but clearly not salted) A large selection of pizzas, but here our expectations did not coincide with reality (on cheeses here they obviously save money))) The only plus in this institution is the staff - the girls are all very friendly, attentive and polite.

After visiting this establishment, we were so disappointed with both the staff and the food. It all started with the fact that they called to book a table, it was said that the administrator would call back in 10 minutes, they waited for the call for an hour, after exactly an hour they called back themselves, to remark, it was said that they were busy with visitors, I'm sorry, are these our difficulties? Upon arriving at the establishment, the staff does not seem to notice the visitors, orders are not taken on time, the waiters are standing talking to each other and they absolutely do not care what happens in the hall. A dirty, greasy decanter of butter was brought to the pizza, which we have never seen in any restaurant in Gomel. Pizza with a pear is generally a separate conversation, the pear is raw, hard, not tasty, there was no declared door blue cheese at all. Waiters are a complete disappointment, are they at least doing some kind of internship? They are taught to communicate with people, rude, boorish. Definitely, we won't go to this place anymore. The evening was ruined!

We were passing through Gomel with children and the first thing we decided to do was visit this cafe. We were sitting on the street, the administration came up with a cool idea with umbrellas. Everything is clean and beautiful, flowers everywhere. We took a pizza of 1000 grams, very tasty. Beer and alcohol prices are above average. Pizza is 29 rubles, I think it's great. Juice and coffee prices are the same as everywhere else. The menu is varied. The waiter boys are smart.

But all the products were bought no further than 15 meters from the restaurant: the cheapest cheeses, straight, Belarusian rubber parmesan, the cheapest ham and the cheapest sausage, even a little bit bitter. In short, a real local product. Nevertheless, it was delicious, and we were satisfied.

We've always been happy with this place before. We came with a child and everything was good for the service and the children's menu and the pizza were all delicious. When we decided to order pizza at home, there were no questions about Marconi, of course. The pizza drove for 2 hours and what arrived was very frustrating. We ordered meat pizzas. It was cut into four parts. Under the sausage are some pieces of ham (cut into large chunks) burnt mushrooms and all this is covered with cheese. And as my husband said, it looked more like a meat pie than a pizza.

Before I visited the institution, it seemed to me that it was one of the best in Gomel. But, alas, not everything is as colorful as I imagined. Immediately at the entrance to the establishment, the administrator greets you and offers tables, most of them will be booked, but this is normal. As for the interior, it's nice, the homely atmosphere is felt, BUT immediately in the hall you can see the waiters' counter where they prepare the dishes, you can also see the area where they make pizza, it seems to be fascinating, but it's very noisy in the hall. Everything is noisy, buzzing, and especially unpleasant is that in the hall you can smell if something is burned. This already spoils the impression a little. The next thing that can be fixed is to remove the instructions of the waiters from the hall, it was very unpleasant to watch how other "stalwart" waiters and administrators indicate what to do to the intern. Of course, it is necessary and important to do this, but do not poke his nose at guests. In the bathroom, I would just like to wash the floor more often, since a lot of dust and dirt accumulates there, but in general there are no complaints. The dishes are reasonably priced, the portions are large and delicious, there are no complaints here either. But milk oolong seems to be cheap, instead of a milky aftertaste, it feels like you've cracked open a capsule with fish oil, it's impossible to drink without sugar, and for people who are used to drinking without sugar, it's not very pleasant.
