I recently returned from the Kola Peninsula. I really enjoyed the trip: the company and the program were great. Irina's escort was interested in making the rest as vivid and memorable as possible.: We stood in the cold for almost 3 hours for 2 days to see the aurora. And there was no such thing as "oh, well, let's go, it's cold." We stood and waited, although, as it seemed, the chances were not great. And I am very glad that we did succeed!
About Teriberka (we didn't get there because of the weather) I was upset. On the one hand, everything is clear, the wild nature, the uncontrolled weather conditions, and I was warned that this could happen, but on the other hand, Instagram is teeming with stories from there, telling how cool, unique, interesting, and most importantly simple everything is. At this point, there are 0 complaints, only my impressions due to high expectations and misconceptions.
By the way, the hotel in Murmansk, which is cheaper, turned out to be cooler and more comfortable than the expensive one. He looks prettier, there's no queue for the shower, because the neighbors usually get ready to sleep at the same time, and you don't hear the noise from the hair dryer (because it's not in the room). I immediately tensed up a little when I heard about the facilities on the floor, and imagined a dorm room at the university. In fact, it's very good.
