It takes 3 hours to get from Yerevan via Gyumri, but this is the most normal road. The last 23 km of dirt road to the waterfall is generally in good condition. 3 km before the waterfall, you need to cross the river. We were afraid and left the car in the parking lot next to the river, but there are different cars passing by, including sedans (Opel, Merc, Lada). The only thing that really upset me was that the recreation area near the waterfall has a lot of garbage (napkins, cups, etc.). It's a very scenic road. Be sure to visit if you've never been there. We went together with a 2.5-year-old child. In general, it's not bad, because we bought a special carrier.
