When traveling through the Oshmyansky district or just passing by on the highway to Vilnius, I strongly advise you to take a little time to walk and look at the Church of the Archangel Michael. A very beautiful and majestic building with two magnificent towers in the neo-Baroque style, as it seems to me, will not leave anyone indifferent.

The tallest building in the city of Oshmyany and an example of the "Vilna" Baroque. Above the main entrance of the church, the phrase "Te Deum Laudamus" is carved in Latin, which means "We praise you, God." The church was built in 1906-1910 by architect Vaclav Mikhnevich. During the Soviet era, the church was closed and used as a factory workshop, but it was returned to the faithful and restored in the 1990s.
