Magnetic place…

The church is located in a very picturesque place surrounded by mountains. The beauty takes your breath away. Magnificent views of Stepantsminda. You can get water from the spring, water the horses. I recommend everyone to visit this place and feel this charm and power of nature!
The road is good, paved. You can easily get there by car, there is a parking lot upstairs.

The church is located in a very picturesque place. There are several hiking trails. For example, you can climb through the forest, and go down the valley with a view of the Gergeti tower. Unfortunately, most people go there by car. There are a lot of them there during the season. The view of the church is spoiled by an incomprehensible parking nearby, where no one puts cars, and everyone goes to the church itself, further spoiling the view.

An incredible and picturesque place!
Let's start with the path: there are no problems, and the navigator knows perfectly well, and there are clear signs where to turn in Stepantsminda. Almost 6 km of excellent paved road (laid in 2018), which leads you to an altitude of 2,200 meters.
Equipped parking lots with markings, there is an order.
The temple itself was in scaffolding, so it was not possible to see all the beauty.
The observation deck offers a magnificent view of Stepantsminda and Gergeti.
It's cold enough upstairs even in summer, so be sure to keep this in mind (it was +10 upstairs in July).
I strongly recommend you to visit.

Beauty from all sides. Definitely worth a visit. In good weather, you can see Mount Kazbek.
The paved road goes straight to the monastery. Parking nearby is very small, it is better to stop a little in advance and take a little walk

The old church was built of stone. Inside the icon, there is a small area around and there is a separate observation deck from which Stepantsminda can be seen. Parking is available, entrance is free.

A place of power. Incredible. High, high in the mountains. The night views are mesmerizing, it seems you are next to the sky and the stars. We always try to walk to the church, the views are amazing. It is more difficult in winter, but there are cars on the square, a car of 60 GEL.

Потрясающее святое место, рекомендую к посещению. Расположена на одной из кавказских вершин. Отличная подьездная дорога, большая парковка. Церковь действующая. Очень живописные виды, чего только стоит Казбег

Before reaching Stepantsminda, 300 meters turn to the right, there is a brown sign, then on the left there is a parking lot for puzoterok, they carry up on Mitsu Delikas (money is wasted). The road to the temple is steep, but paved, the car will pass without problems. It's hard to climb loaded, but it will pass.
The temple is ordinary, as in any city in Georgia. All the beauty is outside. Photos, videos of the surroundings, view of Kazbegi. Great for a copter.
Overnight, if with tents, here, 400 meters below the temple. There is a small forest, tents are pitched on the edges.
There is drinking water at the foot of the temple (fenced off from animals).

Прекрасное место с прекрасными монахами, на русском языке говорят очень плохо, но очень добры и приятны! Внутри можно снимать фото и видео, во многих других местах в Грузии не разрешают. Прекрасный вид открывается сверху! Завораживает красотой! Долгое время дорога до монастыря не была асфальтирована и добраться до него можно было либо пешком либо на внедорожнике, но и то и другое было настоящим приключением, несколько лет назад дорожное полотно существенно преобразилось и добраться туда теперь можно на любом автомобиле. Были в июле 2023, в древнем городе Мцехата, в Православном храме. Нам очень понравилось, как и впрочем вся Грузия. Каменные улочки, древняя крепость, красивый храм, история, про неё много можно писать. Например городу 2500 лет и многие жители Грузии до сих пор считают её столицей❤❤❤ Обязательно посетите это место👏

Если Вы будете в Степанцминде, то обязательно посетите данную церковь, потрясающая панорама, чистый воздух, можно прокатиться на лошади, квадроцикле, но мы просто сидели и наслаждались панорамой.

Место силы с потрясающими видами и энергетикой! К посещению - обязательно! Особенно утром в ясную погоду - Казбек раскроется во всей красе. Доехать просто на любой машине, не верьте таксистам, желающим на вас заработать.

Be sure to go upstairs if time and weather allow — the views are incredible, the church is absolutely magical, functioning, a sweet young priest serves in it, a strong place. The road from Stepantsaminda by car will take 10-15 minutes. Admission is free, but there is a church shop if you want to put candles, and a donation box.

This is one of the oldest temples in the World. The temple is located at an altitude of more than two thousand meters above sea level. The uniqueness of the temple is in its architecture. This is a cross-domed architectural style characteristic of the temple buildings of the 14th century. Heavenly beauty! If you are looking for the Abode of Angels, then it is here.

Прекрасное место с потрясающими видами, поехали после обеда ближе к 16:30 - Казбек открылся полностью. Храм внутри впечатляет(можно оставить записки за здравие и упокой), свечи есть в Храме в корзине бесплатно( но для желающих можно рядом оставить пожертвования). Наверное нам повезло и дорогу к Храму не перекрывали. Парковка есть у Храма и немного недоезжая метро 200м.

Самый высокогорный и в то же время доступный к посещению православный храм, т.к. асфальтированная дорога приводит к его подножью! Панорама открывается необыкновенная, виды снежных вершин и близость Казбека завораживают, место намоленное и благодатное! Уходить не хотелось!

Одно из самых живописных мест на Казбеги! Можно сходить в церковь, а можно прогуляться по окрестностям. Будьте аккуратны, здесь очень сильные ветра и без ветровки или куртки здесь делать нечего. Если собираетесь на прогулку берите еду и воду с собой, точек питания нет. Проехали на своей машине прямиком на парковку церкви, было открыто, хоть дорога и размыта местами.

It's beautiful from afar, my mother and I didn't get there, half of the tourists too, 2 incomprehensible "roads" where you have to climb up and with your feet and hands. Either go along the road for cars 5-6 km, or take a taxi. It is better not to climb through the mountains, it is very easy to break over the sprout. I saw somewhere a review that a small child calmly reached, I'm not sure, the men turned around here. Insanely hard way, if not on the road for cars, count on it, we did not take the risk and climb up a narrow path when there is a cliff nearby.

Посещали данную церковь вечером, когда уже включили фонари - по тёплому красивое место .Народа немного. Заходили во внутрь церкви. Посещать церковь в шортах нельзя ни мужчинам, ни женщинам! Нельзя женщинам в коротких юбках. Но, в принципе, это все не проблема, на входе лежат "юбки", которые можно взять бесплатно и повязать поверх своей одежды. Посетить данное место рекомендую.

Красотища, особенно когда Казбек не в облаках) Есть дорога с крутым серпантином, поворачивайте аккуратней, местные джигиты на Деликах могут и на встречку вылететь)

Обязателен к посещению. Безумно красиво смотрится храм на фоне заснеженных гор и вид вниз на степанцминду раскинувшуюся в низине. Летом такого не увидишь, так как снега на вершинах гор не будет.
