The first information about the Begoml church dates back to 1645. It was made of wood and deteriorated over time. In 1877, the construction of a new stone building began, which lasted nine years. During the struggle with the church, the bell tower was demolished and the iconostasis was destroyed. The temple was adapted for a club, a hostel and a tavern. In 1937, a steam engine was installed in it, to which a sawmill was connected, and a mill was built in the church. After the Great Patriotic War, firewood was cut here again, and in 1960 the local state farm built a distillery, which eventually severely disfigured and damaged the building. In 1991, the church was handed over to the faithful, and in the same year it was consecrated in the name of All Saints.

It's a pity about the building. It was a good temple. They would rather be restored

A very interesting place, but, unfortunately, in severe decline and is not being restored (the parish's own forces are clearly not enough for these purposes)

It is a pity that it is not a monument of architectural heritage and therefore is not in the plans for restoration and reconstruction. 😔 It would be a great place for pilgrims and tourists.

It's a very atmospheric place. Immerses you in the times of Byzantium. It's a pity these are the ruins of the past

A wonderful place! But, due to the severe destruction of the upper part of the walls, there is a high risk of stones falling on your head, so be careful when visiting!

The highest assessment and perplexity as such amazing ruins remained without restoration. It was the most beautiful church in the Vitebsk region!!! It was destroyed by the Bolsheviks. But I kept the front facade and the entrance part. The place is very salty. You literally touch the walls and feel the energy. The volume of the church is impressive, perhaps one of the largest in Belarus. Be careful in the center, there are deep pits, it is obvious that each church in the center has underground passages and even burials of relics.

Very beautiful. I advise you to read the history of the church. There is a shop and a small working church nearby

I did not expect to see such a combination of beauty and grandeur. I have not seen such architectural solutions of the past on the territory of Belarus yet. It reminds Mtskheta Tskhavelli in some way, if they ever restore it, it will be great.

The parish still managed to get to worship, there is a local priest who leads them. Take the time to stop by and take a look before everything finally falls apart

Of course, those who are not carried away have nothing to look at. No one seems to be taking care of the ruins, and therefore in a deplorable state. It's even dangerous to be there

I like the temple for its scale. Interesting architecture. It is amazing what huge stones are laid neatly. Unfortunately, it is falling apart every year..

The front and left walls of the temple remain intact. But you can imagine all his greatness. It is located near the city center.
