Level 16 Local Expert

We visited the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Kobuleti with our family and were satisfied. The temple inside is small, but cozy and very pleasant. There is a shop at the entrance where you can buy candles. The area around the temple is picturesque, it is pleasant to walk. The priest is very kind to tourists, which left a good impression. The only drawback is that the funicular does not work.

The church is functioning, if you are a tourist, then you must wear appropriate clothes (shorts will not work). A handkerchief can be borrowed at the entrance. The interior of the church is painted by the Ajarian icon painter John Babilodze. There is a church shop near the church.
