We were hardly disappointed by the poor service! Angry boorish staff made our visit absolutely unpleasant. The food is good, but get prepared for tired staff faces and unacceptable behavior.

Khinkali are good: especially fried with estragon and egg. Dolma is nice too. Food here is pleasing and varies overall. Big plus: you can order khinkali by one, to try every taste. But the restaurant itself is disappointing. Service is passable at best: administrator held us up at the door for 5 minutes, while she was distracted with other stuff. Then she addressed someone on a walkie-talkie and led us to a table. Waters bring soft beverages to the table, but you have to pour them yourself. "Home wine" is awful. Cutlery, glasses and plates are cheap and mass-market. WC is small and gender-indifferent, for such a big establishment it is a serious shortcoming.

Tumanyani Khinkali is an excellent restaurant for lovers of Georgian cuisine. It serves delicious, juicy khinkali with various fillings, as well as other traditional dishes such as khachapuri, kebabs and ajapsandal. The atmosphere is cozy, with a pleasant interior in the national style. The staff is polite and fast, the dishes are served hot and fresh. On the downside, there may be a lot of visitors during rush hours, and sometimes you have to wait longer than usual for an order. Overall, Tumanyani Khinkali is a great place to enjoy authentic Georgian cuisine in a pleasant environment.

We went to have dinner late in the evening. I really wanted to sit quietly and have a delicious meal. We ordered eggplant salad, 5 different types of khinkali and tea. The salad arrived quickly enough, but the khinkali had to wait., They took everything out on one plate, the waiter told them what was where and left. Khinkali is small, there is almost no filling inside : (As a result, it was our worst dinner in Yerevan. The service is also not up to par. They serve for a long time, even tiredly. The price tag is 1.5 times higher than in restaurants, where it is 2 times tastier. If you want to eat really delicious khinkali, you definitely need to go somewhere else. In small establishments, the dishes are much tastier. And the service is nicer.

If we fly to Tbilisi, we definitely go to the NAN restaurant, which is next to the sulfur baths, because they serve the best chickapuli and pork rib kebab. In Moscow, the Ararat restaurant has an amazing lula kebab from Sevan cancer!!! Well, when we arrive in Yerevan, the hotel is our favorite, because it is 500 meters from Tumanyan Khinkali, where we have lunch every day while we live in Yerevan for 2-3 days. And everyone there already knows us, from the janitor to the cooks. If we talk about quality, then I have only one word in my head: Delight! Delight!! Delight!!! These are the true virtuosos of the whorl and the magicians of the ladle!!! My classmate Vahram Aghajanyan was right when he said that the best Georgian khinkali can be eaten only in Yerevan. I didn't believe him in those early years, but now I'll say Yes, He was right!!!

This is the best restaurant in Yerevan! We have been here several times and enjoyed great dishes each time. The staff is very polite and quick to serve. In addition, the MIR card is accepted here, which makes the visit especially convenient. But the most important thing is that only honest people work here. One day I left a bag with money and documents here, and returned an hour later. The staff returned my bag without any problems and asked me to immediately check if everything was in place. Fortunately, everything turned out to be in order. I am very grateful to the whole institution and recommend it to everyone!

A great place with a cozy spray can for two. We had a breakfast of scrambled eggs with bacon and scrambled eggs with basturma. Everything was very tasty. A giant Greek salad of the freshest vegetables complemented the table. Coffee .... Baklava... no comment, it's divine.

A very cozy restaurant of a good level. The interior is warm and homely. There is a veranda, 2 floors, 2 balconies. The cuisine is Caucasian, mainly Armenian and Georgian. We ordered harissa, mushroom soup and assorted khinkali (with mushrooms, cheese, lamb and beef) - the soups are excellent, the portions are large, the khinkali is good, the dough is thin, the filling is not bad. The service is fast and attentive. It is better to book a table in advance - usually the place is full.

Conflicting opinions about this place. I've been there 3 times. On the one hand, the place is beautiful. A pleasant summer evening and the halls are well decorated. The food is delicious. Khinkali is good. On the other hand, the service leaves much to be desired. Once at the summer party, everything was great. For the second time, we ordered 15 hencals and drinks, carried them for an hour and a half (and this is not a full landing). The third time is a circus in general. The waiter took the order while watching TV. They wanted to order a cappuccino, they said they didn't serve it in this room. We said that the drink was on the menu, we were told "yes". And everything. Men were addressed by you, women by you for some reason🤷♀️ And even if the place is half full, you will not be able to book a table, they will say that everything is in reservation (apparently they keep it for customers who come in from the street, so as not to risk that someone will not come).

But I'm shooting two stars for the disgusting service: the waiters are imposing, important, in no hurry. The table was not cleaned for about 15 minutes. It took a long time: we accepted the order, calculated it for 20 minutes. And the waiter doesn't know how to count - they gave him a cash calculation - they returned it to recalculate it. Oh, this is a very worthy place. The restaurant is so huge that we were incredibly surprised: in the evening we were sitting in the basement, and in the morning on the balcony of the second floor of the main building. The decoration, decor and design of the rooms are amazing ! The dishes are super delicious, but not all! Khinkali and tolma were impressed. The khinkali is super, I really liked it. Both fried and boiled. I especially liked it with tarragon and egg.The Greek salad is wonderful) The greens and vegetables are gorgeous. But I didn't like the waiter at all. With a displeased face, no hello, nothing. When I asked for one of each kind, he made a face as if I had asked to be fed for free. We arrived at 12 p.m., and only 1 table was occupied in the cafe. They sat down. We waited for about 15 minutes. No one came up to us (although there were 3 people at the counter doing nothing). Here is such a service.. Interior.. under the "Soviet past", typewriters, retro photos, balalaika (for some reason ..). The SMELL is appropriate! It's like Grandma's old apartment. The "old" can be interesting and beautiful, but it's just gray and sad. There were several types of khinkali on the menu, the price was 500 AMD (~150 RUB).. well, in general, the price is normal. We haven't tasted it. I do NOT recommend a place! Go to any other building in the same building.

A girl met us at the entrance, talked to someone for a few minutes for a long time before letting us in, despite the fact that all the halls were empty. The unhappy waiter did not offer a replacement for the missing dish, but silently took the order. There was no fork on the table, so I had to wait for him to come up with a stupid joke, "there are no forks." We ordered 6 khinkali, but only 3 were brought. When we asked for the bill, there were 6 pieces in the receipt. When we paid, they brought us our khinkali. It turns out that they were confused with someone else's order. Because they were terribly salty, we didn't even eat them. We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

не знаю, почему у заведения такая высокая оценка. брали хинкали с грибами, с сыром, с говядиной и курицей. хинкали с грибами жутко пересоленные, остальные просто нормальные. для такого уровня ценник высокий. отдельно хочется выделить обслуживание: сервиса в заведении нет, официанты с понурыми лицами даже не повторяют заказ. уровень сервиса просто подай-принеси. в заведение возвращаться не хочется
