The establishment made a pleasant impression at first glance — the interior is tastefully decorated, the hall is clean and cozy, the toilets are also kept in order. I was especially pleased with beshbarmak, which is served with sorghum and potatoes. The portion is impressive, and the taste is simply excellent. The salads were also excellent — fresh, delicious, and well-cooked. The dessert brownie with ice cream deserves special mention. My wife was delighted! A pleasant surprise was a compliment from the baursaki restaurant. The service is courteous and attentive. The atmosphere and interior are as good and cozy as before. Cold snacks are at a good level. The impression began to deteriorate with the hot serving, when the waiters confused the first and second hot (beshparmak and shish kebab). Beshparmak left a double impression... Kebabs are normal, due to the fact that the restaurant does not specialize in them. There were clearly not enough waiters, despite the fact that the hall was half full, I often had to remind myself ... I really liked the pastry shop, especially the meringue roll. I recently visited the Tumar restaurant and, unfortunately, was disappointed. From the very beginning, I was unpleasantly surprised that an entrance fee of 700 tenge was charged. This has already created a negative impression, as this is rarely found in other establishments. Further, adding 12% service fee to the receipt seems unjustified. The service in the restaurant was at an average level, and clearly did not correspond to the high percentage for service. Unfortunately, even the quality of the dishes left much to be desired. The prices on the menu were overpriced, and the dishes did not justify their cost. In general, the visit to the Tumar restaurant did not meet my expectations. High prices, unjustified entrance and service fees, as well as the quality of the dishes that do not match the price, make this place not the best choice. I hope that the management will pay attention to these comments and improve the quality of services.

A separate topic about the barbecue, when it was brought, I was honestly surprised and shocked. The output of the dish, 100/150 grams, is also cooked on an electric grill. Fortunately, the waiter warned in advance that the portions were small and offered to add a side dish. Moreover, the cost of a barbecue is 2300 tenge.
