This is not Turkcell, as it says on the sign. We were deceived several times in this salon. I'm telling you the whole situation:
1. We came to this point to get a Turkcell SIM card. They fell for the big sign and the Turkcell packages from the operator. Initially, we focused on the packages that were listed on the site, but at the point there were only packages several times more expensive than on the site. The employee himself said that there are no others in principle and there are only tourist ones - this is partially true. For tourists, they make wild margins and it is almost impossible to really buy like a local. As a result, we chose two 50 GB packages, paid and left. They didn't give us the checks
! At this point, very carefully. The operator said that the SIM card is activated within 30-40 minutes. In our opinion, this is done so that you don't come back and see the deception right away
2. After the purchase, we went for a walk and waited for activation. As a result, the SIM card was activated, but only after 60 minutes. But what was our surprise when we couldn't get into Turkcell's personal account. It turned out that we were sold a Turk telecom SIM card in a Turkcell package))
And when we finally went into the Turk Telecom application, we found that in fact another SIM card was purchased - for 25 GB of regular Internet instead of 50 GB and for 25 GB of WhatsApp
Fortunately, we lived near this point and were able to return the same day to find out our fare. In fact, it turned out that the wrong operator was sold to us, because Turkcell does not work (deception of pure water), and the tariff was sold correctly - we just did not listen.
In general, the results of the disputes and negotiations came to nothing. At our request, the staff still gave us checks, refused to give us another tariff package instead of the one sold. I am now leaving a review so that you will be aware of all this exchange. They also sent a statement to Turkcell itself demanding that this communication point be blocked and to the tourist police. Let's hope for retribution for these guys.
Tips for buying:
1. Look for the official points of Turkcell. They can be found on the website https://www.turkcell.com.tr/
2. Check the tariff immediately after purchase. Log in to the app and see what you have connected. Require activation immediately - it is possible
3. Make sure that you are not sold a SIM Card from another operator. Control the moment of inserting the SIM card. If necessary, pull it out right in front of the employee and see what is written on the SIM card
4. If possible, it is better not to even pay the tariff before the entire connection
5. Be sure to specify what exactly is included in the package. Is 50 GB 25 GB of Youtube and 25 GB of regular internet or all 50 GB of regular internet? This is all initially necessary to ask and check in the application
6. Just be careful and come with the understanding that at such points everyone is cheating
