Of course, the place is interesting. The turtles are huge, there are really a lot of them, they swim right next to you (it even gets scary). Locals on the shore sell algae for money, although they can be harvested for free right on the reef. We got so carried away with feeding that we almost drowned our phones, our bags and watches got wet.

Good for photos. There is a possibility to get inside. As of October 2025, the price of the upgrade was 10,000 rupees (+/-30$). I do not recommend getting up. There is no spiral staircase. There's nothing to see at the top. If the outside temperature is +30, the inside temperature will be over 45.

I liked the fact that there were actually three practically tame turtles. And I liked even more that the locals keep an eye on the tourists and don't let them offend these turtles. The visit is absolutely free of charge. We fed the chipmunks there. The turtles were too crowded with tourists and I didn't want to stand in line to give them a blade of grass (algae). The turtles are huge))

The algae is sold on the shore by enterprising locals. 100 meters from the shore (there is a depth of about 2 meters), you can swim with turtles and fish, even small sharks swim there (very small, up to 0.5 meters in length). But due to the presence of algae near the shore, the smell is not very good. It is necessary to have protective shoes so as not to step on sea urchins.
