A cozy place, you can feel the national flavor, but also a modern style. The staff is very polite, the menu is varied, the dishes are always fresh and delicious, the places for family or company are very interestingly divided, there are tables for singles and two. For me, the place starts like in a theater, with hangers- super, they kept the wardrobe and the cloakroom attendant here. The prices are above average, but they are worth it. Go, you won't regret it

The service at the summer playground is very lame (apparently students), I recommend going inside, they can't open champagne at all. I hope that only this time it didn't work out so well. Everything is sad. It's dilapidated, tired, and not tasty. The pilaf has bad meat, rubber kazis, tasteless cold baursaks, Tashkent tea in economy mode — lemons and sugar. It's a pity, 10-15 years ago I loved this place.

I love the skullcap, the cuisine is delicious, but the restaurant is getting old inside. For some reason, they refused to invite the animators, although the hall was empty and we made a good bill.
Don't order jelly for a banquet, it starts to melt right away.
Discuss salads with salt.

I came to try the local cuisine. Prices are above average. I ordered soup, flatbread, compote. It cost 5000 tenge (1000 rubles). It's a little expensive for soup.

We visited the Skullcap restaurant on Dostyk (Samal1) for lunch. We are guests of the country and this was the first visit to the catering establishment of the city.
They took beshbarmak - tasteless, they couldn't eat it, the pilaf was good and the bozbash was also normal. There are two beers on the menu - Russian and Belgian. Russian was not available, Belgium was ordered. The beer was sour, obviously spoiled, and only after the remark was poured fresh. The waiters are slow from the word at all. They brought both soup and hot at the same time, considering that we were sitting on the outdoor veranda, the hot had cooled down before we got to it.
The price tag for this lunch turned out to be exorbitant about 15,500 Tons
Over the next 3 days that we were in Kazakhstan, we spent less in other establishments with more decent cuisine than for this lunch.
I do not recommend this restaurant chain to visit.

Not a bad place. Nicely. I didn't really like the kitchen. The pasties turned out to have frozen filling. The pilaf, because of which they came here, was with uncooked rice. Although it may be for an amateur. Beshparmak was normal, but in other, more accessible places, they put more meat there.

In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in the city - in terms of price-quality ratio. We visited A-Ata three times in three weeks, including with local friends. We only regretted that we did not know - there is another "Skullcap" on the site of the former Alma-Ata restaurant, on the communist. We hope to 'improve' on our next visit. I recommend it to all guests and residents of the city.
