It's very beautiful, and the panorama is great, you can see the sights of Registan! The photos are beautiful! I liked it, everything is within walking distance, and food, and guest houses, hotels!

In Samarkand, I constantly found myself thinking: why the hell was everything destroyed here, and since the third quarter of the 20th century, the USSR began to rebuild. On the one hand, the new model does not go very far, but on the other hand, the weight of hundreds and hundreds of years is felt. If you take a guide, you can walk around the museum for an hour, listen to history and touch History.

A very small museum- three tiny rooms. And the observatory, or rather, a small remnant of it, which we spent 3 minutes watching. Nothing is clear, you need to read the information on the Internet yourself. At the same time, the entrance ticket costs 75 thousand soums.

Don't take a ticket. It's not worth it. Everyone passes by just to look at the remains of the observatory. A tiny museum for 75,000 soums will only interest connoisseurs.

Of all the obligatory places to visit in Samarkand, this is the only one that disappointed...May local and foreign history lovers forgive me. A small area with a tiny museum and the remains of a once-huge sextant is all that all the newspapers wrote about. Definitely (in my opinion) not worth the time.
