Shipped 2 packages from Germany to Armenia via UPS in June 2025 as expedited shipment (3 day delivery promised), business partner of UPS in Armenia „Express Hayk“ kept the packages 3 weeks and demanded additional payments for so-called „state customs fees and the broker“ without payment receipts, in total 204.000 armenian drams. No return was possible. Packages were delivered with delay of 3 weeks and shipment instead of initial 120€ paid at UPS Germany costed me in the end 5 times more. Do not recommend using UPS Armenian partner Express Hayk to anyone, you would lose money, time, have lots of stress. Only disadvantages, no positive aspects at all.

I confirm all the comments below. I ordered a package from Amazon, and during UPS customs clearance, requery asked for my passport details. After that, they received a call that they had received the parcel, and the courier would bring it tomorrow, and they would have to pay 10k drams for some services. I thought for a while, called back, said that I had not been warned about the surcharge before, and that I was ready to pay if they gave me an electronic or terminal receipt, after which they told me, "Oh, didn't they tell you that you would have to pay 10k extra? Well, then you don't have to pay extra." That's all. They are trying to heat up for extra money.

I ordered a guitar from Germany and decided to try it more expensive, but faster via UPS. We reached Armenia quickly, there are no questions. But then there are a lot of questions.: - for unknown reasons, they were detained for additional inspection (4-5 working days) and, of course, they spent all 5 days, for which they asked 6 thousand drams "for storage" - from somewhere an additional fee of 10 thousand drams was charged to the customs broker, which is not mentioned anywhere - the duty of 15% over the threshold was somehow rounded up, which added another 3 thousand drams on top, but I realized this later In addition to all this, you will not be given any checks, transfers to cards or cash. Bottom line: the timing is the same as regular mail, and the price is more than 2 times. Draw conclusions

The courier tried to claim 2k amd for the same, but after calling the office, he also changed his mind about taking the money. Apparently, this is some kind of amateur activity of the local office.

Disgusting company. NEVER, EVER CHOOSE HER TO DELIVER ANYTHING. You can read their cheating schemes in other reviews, they act the same way. They ask you to pay the customs duty and for brokerage services. When I ask them what kind of brokerage services they provided, they can't answer anything, that's what they say.: we do not know, the customs does not tell us why the parcel was delayed, they cannot explain the essence of the brokerage services. The cost of the parcel exceeded the tax limit, usually in such cases you simply pay for exceeding the amount of this limit, but NO BROKERAGE SERVICES are REQUIRED in this case. I work with many transport companies, I have never interacted with customs myself, and they always report the reason for the delay, as they ARE OBLIGED to do so. and then the fun begins. I live in Gyumri, and the delivery was originally ordered here, but then they call me and say: we ONLY deliver IN YEREVAN)))) They don't work on Saturday and Sunday, of course. they offered 2 options: 1) deliver to my friends (sorry, but then why should I go somewhere else for this package and strain people??) 2) leave it in the PHARMACY next door))) Who will be left there? and then they'll give it to anyone, too? they absolve themselves of responsibility. This is the worst company you can deal with.

I was afraid to order a parcel from Germany via UPS because of the reviews, but everything went well. The goods had to be cleared, the broker's service cost 30,000 drams (+ an incomprehensible 2000 drams, which everyone writes about). The staff were always in touch, delivered the parcel home, and met the planned deadlines.

A parcel was sent to me from Spain, and courier delivery to the apartment was paid for. When the parcel was in Armenia, I received a call and was told that 2000 drams should be paid for delivery. I tried to find out what exactly, but I didn't get a clear answer. I asked if I could pick up the parcel myself at the company's office, they replied that yes, but 2000 drams would still need to be paid. In general, I did not want to deal with them. A package has arrived. There was no check for 2000 drams, payment was made only in cash or by transfer to the courier's card.

This is probably the world's worst delivery company in Yerevan. You thought that you had paid and they would force her to the door, but no, come to the department. I paid 80 euros for express delivery, the order was supposed to be delivered home on March 20. On March 24, the parcel was delayed at the cargo terminal, and until March 29, they could not make documents for me to pick it up. 29 called and said that I had to come to them first for documents during working hours, then to the cargo for the parcel, and do all this today or tomorrow, otherwise I have to pay another 6 thousand for storage. They are not going to deliver it from cargo, I have to pick up 17 kg on my own. The best express delivery, I will never use it again

Order underwear for 500 euros, delivery by UPS only. I thought, what kind of problems could there be? I ordered, but then I read the reviews, and I already said goodbye to the order. The hope was that I would find underwear in an employee's garage on an employee in a couple of months (a reference to one of the reviews about the monitor). However, everything was more or less normal: there were no notifications in the tracking, on the scheduled delivery day they called, asked for a passport, said that they would have to pay for the most cherished 2000 drams. Well, OK, the main thing is to get it. The order was delivered home to the address two days after the scheduled delivery date, but it turned out that another 2000 AMD was needed - this is the customs duty for exceeding the tax-free limit. OK, I paid, no checks, well, okay, the main thing is delivered. DHL is better, of course.

***. I ordered a monitor on Amazon. Tracking showed that the monitor flew out of Dubai, after that there were no updates. They were fed breakfast for three weeks, intentionally providing incorrect information. Even once they said that the package would be delivered before lunch. Then I went to the cargo terminal. A long story. As a result, the monitor ended up in the personal garage of the warehouse manager somehow. When I got tired of all this, I started a claim on the American ups website, and the local Armenians went to forgery and forged a document stating that the parcel had been delivered, after which Amazon began to demand money from me. In short, they have a whole scheme here. As a result, after numerous calls and visits, they gave me my parcel with dissatisfaction, which turned out to be opened, of course. To this, they said that the numbers on the box with a felt-tip pen were incorrect and they had to open it because of this (this is if there are full details on the label). A package with home delivery for $630 (of which only $190 cost delivery) I ended up getting it at their office. I have not received any apologies for the time and nerves spent. P.S. I confirm the story about the additional 2000 AMD for brokerage services, but there is not even a conversation about it anymore…

Never, I repeat, never order a guitar from UPS Armenia. My order of musical instruments was kept in a warehouse in Dubai for a month. Then I had to go to customs myself and do customs clearance, because UPS does not provide such services. In total, the order traveled for 6 weeks, I lost 5 hours of time, paid more than for delivery by mail, for some reason they demanded 6000 AMD from me for storage in a customs warehouse. It's just absolutely the worst service I've ever seen (except EMS in Moscow in 2003). Another parcel arrived by regular mail in the same amount, and I also paid the tax directly at the post office, spending 15 minutes of time on everything!
