I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I entered with a standard shopper bag (which was empty) and began shopping without any issue — no signs at the entrance and no one informed me of any policy against shopper bags. Midway through my shopping, a sales associate approached to say I couldn’t use my own bag while shopping. I appreciated the notice, but wished it had come earlier, as I was already halfway through. What made the experience much worse was the attitude of the manager who later approached me. Instead of kindly offering a store basket or simply explaining the policy, she spoke rudely and with an accusatory tone — again, without offering any help. No staff member offered an alternative or assistance, only repeated that I couldn’t shop with my shoper bag. Even more upsetting was being followed around the store like I was a threat or suspect. It felt invasive and disrespectful. Being told they would check security footage to see what I had picked up was the final straw. At the end of my shopping, I even emptied and shook out my shopper bag — as I always do — to clearly show it was empty, just to make a point that using a shopper bag is a normal and transparent way to shop. I believe every shopper should have the right to do so without being made to feel uncomfortable. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If there is a policy, it should be clearly posted and communicated respectfully. I won’t be returning to this store — both the atmosphere and staff behavior were deeply unwelcoming.

A great store with good prices, there are all the necessary little things for the house, cleaning and even suitcases for travel.
