The manor in Maryina Gorka has existed since the XVI century. Her owners often changed: at one time they were the Radziwills, Buzhinsky, Ratynsky, Krupsky and representatives of other gentry families. After the uprising of 1863, the estate was confiscated and, like the whole city, became the property of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire Lev Makov. In 1876, a manor house made of red brick was built under him, which is now the main attraction of Maryina Gorka. The estate has been extensively renovated several times. The park, laid out near it, has undergone great changes — it has been preserved only partially. From 1935 to 1941, the building housed the House of Creativity of Writers of Belarus, where classics of Belarusian literature Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Zmitrok Byadulya, Kuzma Chorny once rested and created. Now the Pukhovichi Children's Rehabilitation Center is located here.
