I recently visited the USSR bar, and I want to share my impressions. The atmosphere here really matches the name: the interior is designed in the style of the Soviet era — from posters and old paraphernalia to furniture that recalls those times. This creates a special atmosphere of nostalgia and comfort, as if you are entering the past. The menu is varied: there are both classic dishes familiar to everyone from childhood, as well as modern items. I especially liked that many of the dishes are served with a "Soviet" presentation — for example, snacks in the style of a home table, simple but delicious. The prices are adequate, the portions are large enough. Drinks are a separate plus. The bar is well-stocked, cocktails are prepared quickly and efficiently, and there are strong alcohol and lighter options. I was pleased with the service: the waiters are polite, respond quickly to requests, suggest menus if in doubt about the choice. The atmosphere is friendly, unobtrusive music is playing in the hall, you can often hear Soviet hits, which further enhances the "retro" mood. On the downside, it can be noisy during rush hours and sometimes difficult to find an empty table, so it's better to book in advance. In general, the USSR bar left a very positive impression. This is a great place to meet friends, as well as to spend an evening in an unusual atmosphere. If you want to feel the spirit of a bygone era and at the same time have a delicious and inexpensive meal, this is a good option.
