We lived in Tbilisi for 5 years. Our children grew up in Vake Park. An ideal place for family walks, meetings with friends outdoors, and sports activities. Centuries-old trees that provide shade on hot days, a fountain that gives freshness and coolness. I was especially pleased with the lack of asphalt in the park. Only the smell of pine needles, birdsong and children's laughter. Then they built another cool library there. You could take books and read in the fresh air. A very warm and peaceful place in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. It was so cool to come back at the age of 11 and show the grown-up children the place where they spent their childhood. The park has become even more well maintained.
