The building itself is old, but everything works and has a neat appearance. The breakfast was good, there was something new every day. We came to Istanbul with my wife and two young children for medical treatment. We stayed at the Valide Hotel for 8 days. We lived in the family room 507. The hotel is not expensive. The room is clean, cozy, very warm. The cleaning is daily and of high quality, the towels and bed linen are snow-white. Breakfast was included in the room rate, everything was delicious and fresh. Beautiful view of Istanbul from the room and especially from the rooftop deck. The hotel is located in the city center, near the metro, shopping malls and, importantly, currency exchangers. All the staff is polite, especially Chingiz (speaks Russian), always responsive, polite, good-natured and, most importantly, always in a great mood. All our decisions, including ordering a taxi to the airport, were made through him. Many and heartfelt thanks to him for this. In general, I liked everything, Istanbul surprised people with its beauty and culture.
