My son and I had lunch at Vasilki, one of our favourite places in the city. We come here often and know the menu by heart, so we were really looking forward to our meal. The service was as good as always - the staff were polite and helpful, and we didn’t have to wait long. However, this time there were a few issues. The mashed potatoes were completely unsalted, which was disappointing, and the portion of chicken nuggets for my son was surprisingly small - much less than usual. We wanted to leave a tip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash, and they didn’t offer the option to tip by card. Another thing I noticed was that the prices have gone up, even though the menu hasn’t changed. We still enjoyed our time, but I hope these small problems will be improved next time.

At first I wasn’t a fan of Vasilki, the food was average with no cozy atmosphere. The problem was the location: I visited the mall spots. You need to try this location: it’s very cozy inside and the service is better. The food somehow tastes better because of this!

When I was going to Minsk for the first time, my friends recommended that I definitely go to Cornflowers. This is a chain of restaurants serving Belarusian cuisine. We were probably in one of the biggest restaurants on Independence Avenue. We didn't book a table in advance, we stood in line for 15-20 minutes and got a good seat. Of course, this is a place where you will want to return again! It might be a tourist destination, but that's what we needed. I was instructed in advance that it was necessary to take branded tinctures. And so it was done!) It certainly sets the mood for your evening. I recommend it! The interior of the restaurant with a Belarusian flavor, warm light, pleasant music - everything creates a feeling of real hospitality. Draniki are delicious! Unsurprisingly, this place is loved not only by tourists, but also by locals. The waiters are attentive, friendly and work very quickly, despite the full boarding. If you want to try real Belarusian cuisine and enjoy not only the food, but also the atmosphere, Cornflowers is definitely worth a visit!

We visited cornflowers 5 times during the week of vacation. The place is great! (But it's important if you don't expect high gastronomic delights and extra special service from it). The guys are working on a huge flow, the number of seats is very large. And at the same time, the dishes are served quickly, the waiters have a good knowledge of the service, and they pay due attention. To explore the national cuisine on vacation, that's the best thing, although I think the locals also support the establishment with a bang! The menu is large, very rich, and the prices are great. A whole map of kvass (garnet top). Cabbage soup with rib, baked dumplings, salads are great. One of the disadvantages is slicing lard (some are very tough, the slices are large), the pancakes with mushrooms are not so good.

An excellent selection of various dishes on the menu, even a whole page for draniki. There are a lot of potato dishes, the assortment is impressive. It tastes great too, and the service is fast. For the first time I tried kvass on cherries, and there is also pomegranate. We have not seen any establishments in Minsk and Grodno that would demonstrate the gastronomic Belarusian flavor so well. Definitely here for the local cuisine!

We were with our family at the Cornflowers restaurant at 89 Independence Avenue, and it was amazing!! The restaurant's interior is decorated in a traditional Belarusian style, which creates a cozy and authentic atmosphere. We decided to try machanka with pancakes, as well as borscht with garlic bun — it was a real culinary journey! The dishes were prepared with soul, and every bite reminded of the comfort of home. I would especially like to mention the quality of the ingredients — everything was fresh and delicious. For dessert, we chose apple leaves, which was a perfect end to our dinner. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks, including local liqueurs, which complement the dishes perfectly. I would like to mention the service separately! The waiters are as attentive as possible: everyone comes up and asks if everything is delicious and how our vacation is going. We were served by a lovely waitress, Dana, a very nice girl!! Overall, this place has become a real godsend for us. We recommend it to anyone who wants to try real Belarusian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere! We will definitely come back here again!

To begin with, we got there an hour before closing time and did not encounter any negativity from the staff) We were greeted and offered a table to choose from. We decided to have dinner, and on the advice of friends, we chose Cornflowers. The recommendations were very good! And this is the case when the expectation coincided with reality by 100%. Belarusian cuisine: clear, tasty, satisfying. The menu is not small, but it is not huge either. At first we took soup with mushrooms, sooooo delicious, moderate acidity, meat, good broth. Next, potato woman, sausages, dumplings… The menu includes dumplings, draniki, cheeks… What we tried is very tasty. The service is fast, the waiters are attentive. The dishes were served in about 15 minutes, and quickly after 15 minutes. In many restaurants of this chain, the waiting time is about an hour. We were lucky, they put us in jail right away. Summary: excellent restaurant chain. I definitely recommend you to visit. And the prices are quite affordable.

A great place, a kitchen, an institution, we got on a day off, we had to stand in line for a while. There are halls on the street, indoors and in the basement, where we had lunch, immediately when we went downstairs, for some reason, I remembered my grandmother's village house. Then I went through the rest of the halls, there is somehow a different rustic atmosphere, but this is my subjective opinion. The dishes are Belarusian, bigger and more satisfying, delicious, the waiters serve like bees quickly, friendly. I advise everyone to visit, especially the guests of Belarus. A great alternative to off-shore fast food outlets, I wish there were more of these establishments.

The first time in Minsk. And one of the points of the visit plan, I really wanted to try the national dishes. We noticed the Cornflowers (Yandex rating and reviews). But we were unlucky, two dishes, draniki with mushrooms and draniki with pork and mushrooms, were served in pans so cold that it seemed that they were not cooked to order, but simply laid out on a frying pan and drizzled with sauce. The draniki were so rubbery that it was not tasty to eat. Thanks to the waitress, a very charming, pretty girl, who helped and resolved this situation. Thank her very much. The pros are all standard for a good Cornflower network. As usual, they choose a convenient location for the restaurant. Good price/quality ratio. You can have a delicious lunch, but not everything turned out to be at this particular point (( Maybe they didn't know, but the first courses are served hot, not lukewarm! In addition, according to the serving level, there is a dried strip in the plate (the portion was poured a long time ago and it was just warmed up). For such a large and popular network, the service is so-so. Otherwise, as usual, there was a long wait for an order at lunchtime, but the rest was delicious and without complaints. Wooden tables, cozy semi-darkness, friendly buzz of voices and some incredibly appetizing smell of fresh pastries and squashes. It's not glamorous, no. It is an authentic comfort, sweet and simple, like a clay pot with sorrel soup. Maintenance is a separate art form! We were greeted by a waitress in a cute embroidered shirt, with a cornflower braided in her hair — she looked like the very personification of comfort and hospitality. The menu is concise, without thousands of extra items, which only pleases. The eyes do not run away, but the soul immediately understands what it wants. And the prices! In an era when the bill for dinner for two is easily compared to a mortgage payment, Cornflowers is a breath of fresh (and incredibly delicious) air. An average check of 3,000 rubles for a hearty dinner with lemonades and dessert is generous and homely. And now — the holy of holies! Something worth going out of the way for: · Draniki with salmon: It's not a dish, it's a crunchy monument to culinary genius! With a golden, perfect crust on the outside and the most tender potatoes inside, accompanied by lightly salted salmon and sour cream cucumber sauce. · Homemade Lemonades: Real magic in a jug! Berry explosion, mint freshness and not an ounce of sweetness. Real salvation and enjoyment. · Apple pie: And... the king of the evening! The same one, grandma's, with cinnamon, with a subtle sourness of apples and crispy sprinkles. Served warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that melts to form a divine sauce. It's not a pie. It's a hug. In general, Cornflowers is not a chain restaurant. It's a state of mind. A place where the food is not just delicious, but with love. Where you can really relax, chat and feel at home. A definite confirmation that people like the network of these establishments is that we managed to get there only once out of three, and in different locations of the city. They said they didn't make reservations, if there was a queue, it would be small. We arrived in the evening, as expected, there was a queue (two companies of 2 and 3 people each). We waited until it was our turn, and then a woman with children appeared, who began to show something on the phone to the administrator, as it turned out, the ID cards of the disabled. We were told that they were queuing up, and then people started following us in the queue, saying that they had many children, etc. As a result: we turned around and left, because I'm sorry, but standing in line for 20 minutes and then letting all the disabled and those with many children through is somehow completely abnormal. They went to another place.

We visited two establishments - on Independence Avenue and near Chelyuskintsev Park. Specifically about the cafe on the avenue. Independence. We had lunch on the terrace and were offered a blanket. The service is quite fast, very tasty, high-quality food. We ordered two servings of regular shingles, I really liked it. We took two lemonades of cucumber and watermelon - it was also very interesting and original. We also tried the salmon steak. Quite so. The cozy atmosphere of the Belarusian-folk style distinguishes the cafe. The plates are stylized according to the theme of cornflowers, the staff in folk costumes. A pleasant place to end the evening well and have a snack with quality food.
