My son and I had lunch at Vasilki, one of our favourite places in the city. We come here often and know the menu by heart, so we were really looking forward to our meal. The service was as good as always - the staff were polite and helpful, and we didn’t have to wait long.
However, this time there were a few issues. The mashed potatoes were completely unsalted, which was disappointing, and the portion of chicken nuggets for my son was surprisingly small - much less than usual. We wanted to leave a tip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash, and they didn’t offer the option to tip by card.
Another thing I noticed was that the prices have gone up, even though the menu hasn’t changed. We still enjoyed our time, but I hope these small problems will be improved next time.

A great chain restaurant with incredibly delicious authentic Belarusian food. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. After several visits to this restaurant in different locations, I can safely say that the service is decent for such a level of establishment, of course, you do not need to wait for people to run up to you every time you look up.
A minus, or maybe a plus, is the queue at the entrance to the institution, if it weren't for the friends who persuaded me to stand in line, I wouldn't have visited this institution, because I don't like standing in line to eat)). I'll make a reservation right away, we didn't stand for long.
The atmosphere is cozy with a reference to the Belarusian decor.
Verdict: if you have the time and opportunity, be sure to visit, the price and quality of the dishes are comparable, the price tag is not exorbitant.

The staff is very polite. A cool rustic interior. Insanely delicious pancakes!!! They came for them. There are delicious and profitable lunches to choose from. The fast food service was a huge plus for us, as we were in a hurry to get to the airport. If you are a guest in Belarus, then this is the best place to get acquainted with national dishes! You can pay with the MIR card and many other payment systems. The toilet is clean and smells nice. The impressions about this restaurant are extremely positive!

We go to different places. We specially order a lot of dishes to try everything. There were complaints about 2-3 dishes everywhere.
There was nothing to complain about here. I repeat, everything is very tasty.
I was surprised that even by 20-00 there was a small queue to get into the restaurant.

Cornflowers is a chain of restaurants serving traditional Belarusian cuisine. All restaurants are stylized as cozy Belarusian village houses or just cozy beautiful places. A great place to enjoy eating in a cozy, homely atmosphere. Serving in very good portions, and second courses on plates with a cast-iron frying pan, which only adds juiciness and sophistication to meat and vegetable dishes. I would also like to mention the pancakes, which are great with any sauce and side dish, I tried them all three days in a row, after the main course. I recommend trying all the sausages - they deserve special attention.
Of the first courses, solyanka and borscht were very admired.
The cost is also very impressive. It was 15-20% more expensive for four people to have a good lunch than in a Russian canteen.

It's a great restaurant. As soon as you enter, the interior immediately catches your eye, it is made very beautifully and minimalistically, you can even say that this restaurant is an example to other restaurants. Excellent restaurant of national cuisine. Friendly and caring staff, delicious dishes, a cozy atmosphere with a national flavor. I would especially like to note that this is one of the few restaurants where you can eat after 22.00. The kitchen is open until closing, and this is a big plus, since we are faced with the problem of where to just eat late at night. Thanks to all the staff for their work.

My visit to the Cornflowers restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Expectations from the establishment were quite high, given its popularity and the positive feedback from others, however, unfortunately, I couldn't find anything particularly tasty for myself.
To begin with, the menu is really diverse, offering a variety of dishes, which in itself is already intriguing. But despite all this, I was disappointed with my choice, especially when it came to draniki. They turned out to be less tasty than I expected, and it seemed to me that they lacked bright flavor accents. Perhaps this was due to the fact that I wanted to experience the authentic taste of a traditional dish, but, unfortunately, this did not happen in this case.
The interior of the restaurant is quite pleasant, creates a cozy atmosphere, and the service was polite (although not always), which is certainly a positive thing. However, when it comes to food, it's what makes the restaurant attractive that has caused my frustration.
In conclusion, the Cornflowers restaurant may be interesting for those who want to try traditional cuisine, but unfortunately, I did not find anything in my visit that would impress me. Maybe it was just not my time or a bad choice of dishes.

Very tasty Belarusian cuisine! Whenever we visit Minsk, we eat there. There have never been any complaints, we go almost every year since 2017. A wide range of national dishes and various alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages. There is a summer playground in season. Cozy atmosphere, polite staff. Despite the heavy workload, the dishes are prepared without delay, the waiters immediately warn you how long the order will be ready. If you come to Belarus for the first time, be sure to visit the Cornflowers and try the national dishes.

During the 2 days spent in Minsk, we had breakfast and lunch exclusively in the cafes of this chain. Well, they are very cool: the traditional setting and the traditional menu, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. From 8 am to 11 am, there is only breakfast on the menu, the choice is small, but each dish is very large and satisfying. The main menu is very, very diverse: a lot of salads, snacks, several variations of pancakes, soups and a large assortment of hot dishes. The portions are very large, the prices are average. There are always a lot of people, at any time. In the morning, the wait for breakfast starts from 30 minutes, but the staff always warns about it, in the evening you can spend 15 minutes waiting for the table. There is no table reservation, free seating. The staff is all young, but very, very attentive, polite and fast. The only problem with all establishments in Minsk, including cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, are small toilets (1 stall in a restaurant or cafe, 3 stalls in a shopping center), which is very, very small for establishments with high traffic.

I liked everything here for the first time. We decided to visit the place again and ordered the same dishes, but everything seemed to be completely different. The grilled vegetables were not grilled at all, in a ton of oil, as if they were fried just in a frying pan. In the dumplings with ham and mushrooms, as it seemed to me on my first visit, there were not enough mushrooms. But this time it was even cooler: just one mushroom for the whole dish, odiiin, Carl! How is that even possible? Then why write that the dish is with mushrooms? Or if there is one, then it is already considered that the dish is with mushrooms?)))) There was hope for cheesecakes, but they turned out to have some kind of fishy flavor, as if they were stored frozen with fish or fried after a fish dish in the same pan. And my husband's soup was salty. It seems that everything happened on this day at once, I don't know how this is even possible. In general, there was a residue.. The only good thing was that the dishes were made as similar as possible to the picture and the service was very pleasant.
So far, 3, with the hope that the situation will improve next time, but, to be honest, I wanted to put 1, because the evening was spoiled.

The salads on the main menu are amazing. Delicious Kiev cutlet. Delicious chicken breast with potatoes. The fish is delicious.
There are breakfasts. Very cool! Delicious and satisfying. And pancakes and porridges - everything is there. And sausages and fried eggs ✊
Well done to the creators of these establishments! If you don't know where to go, you go to Cornflowers. The staff is fast. They communicate in a friendly way.

The most gorgeous cafe. We have not found an alternative in Minsk. I was very pleased that there is a children's menu. And a business lunch on weekdays from 12 to 16. You can eat quite budget. It is always crowded, as this institution is in demand, but you can find a place. There is an underground floor and a covered gazebo on the street. Our favorite is Kiev-style cutlets and different boards with sausages, cabbage soup in a pot, pancakes. I really liked the blackberry-strawberry tincture. Thank you very much for the warm welcome!!! I really liked the Vasilki restaurant, 89 Nezavisimosti Ave., Minsk, although I live in Gomel myself, I have never visited it in Gomel. very tasty! In my opinion, it is quite an interesting place, located next to a park and a botanical garden. One of the features of the institution is a live queue. Booking in May 2024 is not possible. Fortunately, we did not have to wait long for a table for three, our waiting cost us 5-10 minutes, curiosity took over. (The video shows the hall on the basement). There is a hall on the ground floor, on the veranda and on the basement. Pleasant interior, clean, neat, polite, fast enough, pleasant music.
