My son and I had lunch at Vasilki, one of our favourite places in the city. We come here often and know the menu by heart, so we were really looking forward to our meal. The service was as good as always - the staff were polite and helpful, and we didn’t have to wait long. However, this time there were a few issues. The mashed potatoes were completely unsalted, which was disappointing, and the portion of chicken nuggets for my son was surprisingly small - much less than usual. We wanted to leave a tip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash, and they didn’t offer the option to tip by card. Another thing I noticed was that the prices have gone up, even though the menu hasn’t changed. We still enjoyed our time, but I hope these small problems will be improved next time.

At first I wasn’t a fan of Vasilki, the food was average with no cozy atmosphere. The problem was the location: I visited the mall spots. You need to try this location: it’s very cozy inside and the service is better. The food somehow tastes better because of this!

Belarusian cuisine: clear, tasty, satisfying. The menu is not small, but it is not huge either. At first we took soup with mushrooms, sooooo delicious, moderate acidity, meat, good broth. Next, potato woman, sausages, dumplings… The menu includes dumplings, draniki, cheeks… What we tried is very tasty. The service is fast, the waiters are attentive. The dishes were served in about 15 minutes, and quickly after 15 minutes. In many restaurants of this chain, the waiting time is about an hour. We were lucky, they put us in jail right away. Summary: excellent restaurant chain. I definitely recommend you to visit. And the prices are quite affordable.

When asked to wipe the table after the previous guests, we met only a dissatisfied reaction, which is unacceptable. Cornflowers are one love! We were here for the first time about 10 years ago and have visited it again now! And I want to say -WELL DONE! During this time, they managed to preserve the amazing cuisine, the cozy atmosphere and the comfortable price tag! Keep it up ! We were a big company, 9 people. Everyone is thrilled. The first time in Minsk. And one of the points of the visit plan, I really wanted to try the national dishes. We noticed the Cornflowers (Yandex rating and reviews). But we were unlucky, two dishes, draniki with mushrooms and draniki with pork and mushrooms, were served in pans so cold that it seemed that they were not cooked to order, but simply laid out on a frying pan and drizzled with sauce. The draniki were so rubbery that it was not tasty to eat. Thanks to the waitress, a very charming, pretty girl, who helped and resolved this situation. Thank her very much. We were greeted by a waitress in a cute embroidered shirt, with a cornflower braided in her hair — she looked like the very personification of comfort and hospitality. The menu is concise, without thousands of extra items, which only pleases. The eyes do not run away, but the soul immediately understands what it wants. And the prices! In an era when the bill for dinner for two is easily compared to a mortgage payment, Cornflowers is a breath of fresh (and incredibly delicious) air. They said they didn't make reservations, if there was a queue, it would be small. We arrived in the evening, as expected, there was a queue (two companies of 2 and 3 people each). We waited until it was our turn, and then a woman with children appeared, who began to show something on the phone to the administrator, as it turned out, the ID cards of the disabled. We were told that they were queuing up, and then people started following us in the queue, saying that they had many children, etc. As a result: we turned around and left, because I'm sorry, but standing in line for 20 minutes and then letting all the disabled and those with many children through is somehow completely abnormal. They went to another place.

After several visits to this restaurant in different locations, I can safely say that the service is decent for such a level of establishment, of course, you do not need to wait for people to run up to you every time you look up. A minus, or maybe a plus, is the queue at the entrance to the institution, if it weren't for the friends who persuaded me to stand in line, I wouldn't have visited this institution, because I don't like standing in line to eat)). An excellent choice for a company: each piece has its own character, flavor, and all this is accompanied by bread and pickles. The right mood is immediately created, as if old friends have gathered at the table. The appetizer goes especially well in the company of the local Alivaria beer — this combination is simply created for a soulful evening. Black bread croutons with cheese is a simple dish, but here it is made with such taste that you order and think: but it is precisely in such small things that the soul of the kitchen manifests itself. Everything is crisp, flavorful, and once again the perfect match for beer. Draniki is a special treat for lovers of national cuisine. Here it's a whole meadow, a generous variety for every taste. I settled on "grandma in a potty." The dish is delicious, the taste is very harmonious: the potato base is soft, juicy, with a light golden crust on top. Personally, I would add a little salt and a couple of large pieces of meat or bacon, but even without this, the "grandmother" leaves a pleasant impression. That's the kind of homemade food you want to eat with a big spoon. We had dinner with a large group of fifteen people, and everyone was satisfied. This says a lot: it's not easy to please such a diverse group at once. But the kitchen did it, and everyone found something to their liking. Special thanks to our waitress Polina. She was beyond praise: attentive, polite, always there, but completely unobtrusive. Such people know how to create an atmosphere of trust and comfort better than any interior. The evening turned out to be light, delicious and truly family friendly. Cornflowers is a place where you want to return with friends and relatives. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a combination of simplicity, generosity and real taste in Minsk.

I do not know what happened to the waiters' faces, not a single one of them even smiled. Does it feel like this is the corporate identity of Poker Face? They also brought us a glass under water, which simply smelled like a rotten rag a meter away. How is this possible, because we had children with us, one of whom is less than 2 years old.
