Hammered stones or a Stone forest (bolg. Pobiti kamni) are rock formations near Varna. It was declared a natural monument in 1937. These are stone columns 5-7 m high, without a solid base, hollow and filled with sand. There are several hypotheses of their origin.

It's a very unusual place. Given the minimum information on the stands or brochures, one can only guess at the origin of the stone pillars. It looks like the remains of an ancient seabed. But the area looks like destroyed buildings or dwellings.

A very authentic place where you can literally touch nature, the history of the times, and retire, trying to feel the power of the Earth.

An interesting place. You can say "Martian". Be sure to bring your camera with you. You won't see this anywhere else.
