During our week-long vacation in Tbilisi, we visited five restaurants, but only in Velivminov absolutely all the dishes are cooked properly, namely very tasty. Yes, it does not match the design and interior of other restaurants, there is no Wi-Fi and only one toilet, but all this is compensated by fast service and very tasty food, many thanks to their chef. We were there three times and even took two khachapuri with us to Moscow for relatives.

Отличное место, здесь кушают не только туристы, но и местные! Демократичное кафе в самом центре, все чистенько, внимательное и быстрое обслуживание. Меню разнообразное, еда очень вкусная!!! Я была здесь в 2015 году и в 2023 - оба раза осталась довольна. Хинкали канонические, продают от 10 штук. Салат с орехами идеальный и порция большая, а стоит около 10 лари. От заказа до подачи прошло минут 15 и это при полной посадке в обеденное время. Считаю, что одно из лучших кафе, где мы кушали.

When our friend brought us to this place, we were amazed by its interior. It was simple and even somewhat rude, the service was at a low level, there were a lot of visitors, and all this in general gave the impression of a diner.
However, I must admit, I have not tasted anywhere in Georgia more delicious khinkali and eggplant with nuts during all ten days of our stay. And the price for all this... Almost for nothing!

The decor is simple, but if you want real Georgian cuisine, you are here. Portions are very large, 10 khinkali (this is the minimum portion), you can master it together if you don't eat anymore))). Pork shish kebab is awesome, khachapuri in the Ajarian way you can lick your fingers. We were lucky, the locals celebrated a birthday in the next hall, we also listened to songs in Georgian, the atmosphere 🤌
It is noteworthy that locals come to the institution, so the food is really worthwhile. The prices are reasonable, for dinner for two they gave about 1,500 rubles to the dump. The staff speaks Russian.

Oh, it seems to be the best place to enjoy the atmosphere of Tbilisi eateries! At the entrance in the evenings there is often a queue of people who want to sit down at a table, but it's worth it.
Do not be afraid of the menu on A4 paper in the file and the loud local companies around. The food and atmosphere make up for everything.
It serves the best Khinkali in the city! Take the Stolichnye. The minimum serving is 10 pieces. If you are not confident in your abilities, come in a big company. I've never eaten so much, but it was at Velivminov that I was able to easily eat a dozen. In addition to khinkali, there are kebabs, salads and a set of other traditional dishes.
During our visit, two huge halls were served by only two girls, but it was clear that they were as experienced and fast as possible. There are no maintenance comments. Only pleasant memories!

вкусно, относительно недорого, русскоговорящий персонал, много русских тут есть. минус: хинкали можно заказать только от 10 штук - что довольно много на одного. к чеку прибавляют чаевые автоматом

Огромные порции, очень вкусная еда, цены гораздо ниже чем в других заведениях (не только в Тбилиси, но и в сравнении с Батуми, Боржоми, Казбеги). Ходили сюда обедать, ужинать.
Хинкали надо брать от 10 штук. Еду приносят очень быстро. Из напитков брали на ужин вино белое сухое на разлив - легкое и вкусное)
Когда пришли - была очередь на места, ждали буквально 5 минут и нас пригласили за стол.

A wonderful cafe. Accidentally stumbled upon, near a pizzeria related to them. We didn't go anywhere else, we visited 2 times a day all the time we were in Tbilisi. Very tasty, normal prices, excellent service, located in the very center. Special thanks to chef Tomilla, just without equal. I decided for myself how I will be in Tbilisi, only there!

We didn't understand the rave reviews.. Khinkali are not remarkable at all.. the dough is thick, sticky, the meat is not tasty and very spicy..
The chicken kebab is normal.
There is no menu in Russian.
The waitress communicates somehow, they don't have anything!! There is no Khachapuri!! Although they brought it to the next table)

Disgusting under-restaurant! It's better not to come in here! Prices are more or less average for similar establishments - and this is the only positive.
They were seated at a long table next to another couple - there were no more seats. Why did you mention that you were planted with them? They didn't clean up after them!! And at my request to remove the heavy dishes from the table, they snorted that "I will still teach her." The adult waitress who served us is rude, and the orders are taken out by a young girl who does not know what to carry where. He just comes up to each table with a dish and asks if it's yours or not.
Khinkali should be taken at least from 10 pcs (in others from 5 pcs), and they are no tastier than frozen store-bought ones. Baked trout with suluguni and nuts is impossible to eat - fish without salt and pepper (tasteless), the filling is a nightmare. Three pieces of overcooked beef with fat were thrown into the kharcho.
You need to pay at the bar. They tried to cheat on the amount. When I took the menu and counted on the calculator myself and showed the screen how much we ate in this "beautiful" institution, we agreed and gave change.
Globally, it's good that the service is sewn into the account, but in this place such "employees" clearly do not deserve it. They don't care about you.

Уютный ресторанчик, очень вкусные хинкали, салат "цезарь" мясо, но хинкали понравились больше. Персонал отличный, чисто, обслуживают быстро, цены приемливые, но хачипури отменные!!!

Еда посредственная , ценник дорогой , но нам очень понравились хачапури с сыром , это пожалуй лучшие которые мы пробовали тонкое чуть слоеное тесто , много соленого сыра , персонал ленивый как и во многих кафе Грузии пока не позовешь ни кто к тебе не прийдет , попросишь -сделают но не более того , а в остальном пиво теплое еда так себе ,хинкали так и на попробовали и ними какая то дурость 1 шт 1,2лари но порция только из 10 штук , по штучно купить нельзя , короче по грузински все

Ой, ребята. Это волшебное место, о котором я рассказываю всем своим друзьям. Все вкусно. Вот абсолютно все. Персонал - душки. Общались как с лучшими друзьями, соответственно и атмосфера очень дружеская.
Вечером почти всегда полная посадка, нам даже пришлось подождать у дверей минут 10-15. Не знаю есть ли опция брони - надо пользоваться.
С Ренатой, так и не получилось связаться!

Perhaps they were trying to hide poor-quality meat with salt. In addition to this, they tried to double-read us! The waitress announced the amount of the check, GEL 105. We were very surprised and asked to bring the bill in writing. It turned out that the amount was 65 GEL! There were no apologies, just pursed lips! I highly recommend not to come here, so as not to spoil the impression of Georgian hospitality and Georgian cuisine!

Жаренный сулугуни просто в самое сердце и салат крестьянский ( лук вообще не ем, а здесь просто что-то превосходное!!!)

Перехвалено. Посещали много раз, частенько закрывали глаза на недостатки ввиду не очень высокого ценника (в отзывах на 1 верно все укзано и про сотрудников особенно и прочее). Но после сегодняшнего раза могу сказать однозначно - ни ногой! Недовольные лица сотрудников ( были вдвоем, как обычно, здесь любят компании поболее, содрать подороже). Сели за столик, через несколько минут выяснилось, что занято, оказывается, просто надо было усадить компанию из 5 человек местных, согнали в другой зал за стол попроще, я не против, но все с такими лицами, как будто ты им должен, и вообще, лучше уходи. Кружку пива ждали 30 мин, все остальное, соответственно, еще значительно позже. Ну и вишенкой на торт был счет, в который, для невнимательных докинули сверх еще 10 процентов за "обслуживание", ну еще немного лишних лари. Вам же не жалко? В общем, оказывается там и такое возможно. Были много раз, но совершенно точно последний!

Лучшие хинкали во всем городе!
Да и вообще лучшая кухня. Шашлык обалденный, хачапури тает во рту.
Мы нашли это место чисто случайно и после ходили туда каждый день своего отпуска. Даже перед поездкой в аэропорт зашли поужинать напоследок.
p.s. очередь на улице на вход даст вам понять, что заведение того стоит))

Due to his great history, many people want to eat at this institution, thereby creating queues for boarding, we were offered to take a table with another couple who were also waiting in line, everyone agreed and were satisfied. This is not a minus of the institution, this is its peculiarity, but you need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to wait.
Further from the pros: I would like to note that the prices for dishes in the center of Tbilisi are extremely affordable. The menu selection is quite large. With a large workload of the institution, the cooking time is fast, they bring everything when ready. That's probably all.
Next of the cons: unfortunately, the main disadvantage is a mediocre kitchen, despite all the popularity of the institution, it resembles a large dining room, where you can eat inexpensively and usually. Here you will not find a dish from which you will be delighted, everything is very modest. Apparently this is compensated by low prices. The waiters are very tired, we visited the restaurant on Friday (around 9 pm), there was absolute apathy in their eyes. They came, silently put food on the table, because we were sitting at the table with other people, put everything on 1 edge and left. Unfortunately, this cannot be called a service.
I put 3 stars, but with a big stretch, only for a rich past and for the price tag.

Самые вкусные хинкали в Тбилиси ❤️
Зашли по совету хозяина гостиницы и не пожалели. В дальнейшем пробовали в других ресторанчиках. Лучше этих нигде нет!!!! Плюс атмосфера потрясающая. Многие местные жители предпочитают этот ресторан. Когда мы там были- в соседнем зале была шумная вечеринка. Очень аутентично. Всем советую.

Пришли в заведение в 9 вечера, посадили в отдаленную комнату напротив уборной (о комнате предупредили, но никто не сказал, что там будет настолько отвратительный запах и официант будет забывать заходить), поэтому наш заказ приняли только в 21:26, сказав, что кухня с горячим только что закрылась. Заказали из холодных блюд - цезарь и рулетики из баклажанов, а также белое разливное вино.
К цезарю вопросов никаких, было достаточно вкусно. Рулетики оказалось есть невозможно, так как ужасно горчил баклажан. Вино тоже на любителя.

Место переоценено) особенно хинкали
Лучше сходите в Kutkhe, ценник такой же, а удовольствия от хинкалей получите в 3 раза больше
Из 4 мест, где мы пробовали хинкали, это худшее
Тесто было переваренное, хинкали в руках разваливались, бульона мало и сильно пересоленный

Моё любимое место в городе. Ценник феноменально низкий, каждое блюдо на высоте, а хинкали действительно самые лучшие! Большие и невероятно сочные, очень рекомендую место в целом, но хинкали особенно!
