We visited the Velvet cafe yesterday.There are pros and cons.Just about the downside.I ordered squid stuffed with berry sauce.I tried it at first, it didn't even taste bad, but...when they cleaned the squid, they didn't pull out the intestine or what they call it correctly, I don't know.the taste of insides in my mouth.The salad with shrimp and cheese was delicious, and the melfey was incomparable!!Both the dough and the cream, and the fresh berries were very harmoniously combined.My friends ordered chicken lula, they said it was salted.The service is good.The waiter is polite.I liked the interior.In general, the aftertaste is not bad, if not for the squid.I'd like to visit you again.

The staff was more friendly, the waiter served well, but the food..... The chicken cradle was neither salty nor spicy, no. The pasta with mushrooms and cheese was also tasteless. Everything stuck together and turned into one lump. Pizza with ham and ... it was excellent, as was the hodgepodge.

Caesar, it seems to be normal, but I won't say that I would have tempered him again in my life, the meat was cold... The rolls were ordered with some triangular trout because they have California with (attention) Salmon (they seem to be saving money). Rice mixed with overcooked and undercooked (as if it were an aldento), fish like a cat would cry, if there were a competition for the thinnest slicing, it would be an irrevocable victory) well, the taste is 4/5, but rice and the amount of fish raise questions. - The chicken shish kebab was not overcooked and was good in principle, which I was happy about, but not for long... The barbecue was cooked on an electric grill or something like that, and the smell and taste of the smoke were added through the dressing sauce! And annoyance again. - Grilled vegetables are tough... The tomatoes are elastic and barely pricked on a fork, and the grill marks are easily erased... as if they were quickly grilling with a smoky sauce and pressed down for show, the mushrooms are almost rubbery and the corn... Attention! In the middle, when a friend took a bite, there was ICE! The waiter found it difficult to answer, and said that he would take it to the cook now... I thought he was going to get a knock on the head... And they brought us this corn again and said it wasn't warmed up. After all this, I didn't dare try Chocolate fondue.. I didn't understand the camber with dried tomatoes, so I can't say anything about it.

We refused to wait for the rest of the dishes, brought the bill and all the positions were in it, then the waiter just crossed out the positions with a pen that they did not take out to us after 1:30 (even drinks). There are few places in Donetsk where you want to return, but the Velvet cafe is not on their list. The staff is polite, even if you have to wait, they come to the call immediately. I am completely satisfied with the kitchen, if there are any shortcomings, they do not spoil the overall impression of the dish. I suspect that competitors leave negative reviews here, as it's generally a good institution. We drop in from time to time. I like hamburgers. A friend appreciated the barbecue wings. Rustic potatoes, of course, are not a fountain, but that's the least of my worries, perhaps it's a matter of taste (as I was told at a pan-Asian restaurant near Donetsk City, not wanting to hear about the rejection of a terrible dish). I know that I will leave with a positive mood and I am fed up from the cafe. A nice man will meet you at the entrance and help you take off your coat and put it back on. There are no smoking rooms, we call them "floating", since you can only use hookah or electronic steam rooms. I wish that the Corduroy staff saw the positive ratings and tried to further improve the service so that visitors would warmly remember them and would like to return again and again.

The dishes are terribly dirty, the appliances are not washed and not everything has even been taken out. We had to ask for a spoon separately. The hookah in the bill turned out to be premium, which we did not order, to which the hookah man told us that we did not specify(although the order was originally for a classic one). Thank you for at least bothering to make a discount. But after that, he managed to finish off the situation and just dropped the red-hot coal on the table, cutlery, etc., for which he did not even apologize. After we paid, the change of 400 rubles was brought only in the amount of 300))))) Unfortunately, there is no desire to return to this institution.

A month later, on April 20, 2019, we visited Corduroy again. This time I had to call the manager! It seems that Napoleon was bought around the corner, with the second freshness, thrown in a piece on a wooden board two, shortened with acrylic and dusted with powder. The manager came up, tried to apologize vaguely, saying that they would take into account all the comments, BUT there was no desire to return to Corduroy again!!!
