To begin with, there is no manager at the reception, instead there is a guard who does not speak English. Neither he nor his colleagues, who were considered 4, can give out the room key. After an hour of ordeal, the manager arrived and said that she would move us in only after paying for cleaning services (400 baht). We're renting for a day, okay, it's late, just to get in. We go into the room, and there..... there are already guests - a crowd of cockroaches, photos are attached. We go downstairs, the administrator has already been blown away, only the guards. The response to the request to contact the administrator was again strange, saying, "we can't get through, go to the room." After another hour of debate, we got through to the manager, and he made us happy, saying that there were no available rooms and could not help in any way. Great, the service is excellent! While we were arguing with the administration in the lobby of the first floor, a cleaner came into our room and killed cockroaches - we realized this by the chemical stench that we felt when we returned to the room and by the pile of dead insects lying on the floor and tables of the room. Naturally, the window was closed, and it took another hour and a half to ventilate the room. We went to bed closer to 5 a.m. That's how we spent the night at the venetia hotel.
