I would like to share the delight of this beautiful place, which has become a real point of attraction for our holidays! Arriving from Rostov-on-Don to Gudauta, on the very first day we accidentally stumbled upon the cafe-restaurant "Verandah" and never regretted it! The dinner was so delicious that we immediately booked a table for the remaining 8 days of our vacation. And it was the best decision! It's really delicious here! All the dishes are the freshest, it feels like they are prepared with soul and conscience. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than adequate for such quality. The location is simply gorgeous — right by the sea. In the evening, there is an incredible atmosphere here: fresh sea air, dim lights, and as a pleasant bonus, live music. The perfect place for a romantic dinner and relaxation. The administrator can be seen that he is rooting for his business with his soul, as for his own child. He is always interested in the opinion of the guests to make it even better. The staff works smoothly, politely and very quickly. Special thanks to the waiter Suzanne! This is not just an employee, but a real ray of sunshine in your establishment. Incredibly kind, friendly, always with a warm smile and instantly anticipates any desires. Thank you to her for the special treatment! Thank you to the entire Verandah team for their incredible contribution to our vacation! We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and hope that the next trip will take place in Gudauta to come back to you again!

The teas and local wine also pleased with their quality and affordable price, which made our evenings especially cozy. 🍷🍝 The service in the cafe is top—notch - the waiter girls were very attentive and friendly, which added a special charm to our stay. 😊 However, we still have some minor comments. The mutton in the chef's sauce did not make a proper impression, and, to be honest, it resembled our sprat in tomato sauce. this is only an isolated case, as the rest of the dishes were excellent. Overall, the "Veranda" left us with positive emotions, and we will be happy to come back again! We recommend it to everyone who is looking for delicious food and excellent service! 🍽️❤️

Well, what can I say? ))) We really enjoyed everything!We went there for the sake of the view, but it turned out that the kitchen pleased us and the service in general! Everything we ordered was top notch, especially the egg boat))) It was the most delicious here! The price tag, of course, is not cheap, but it is not cosmic either. We went to a cafe in the afternoon, I really wanted to visit this place, as there are a lot of good reviews. And in the end, a complete disappointment! I ordered hashlama with beef, one water, carrots in huge chunks, a little bell pepper and a couple of pieces of potatoes, beef apparently boiled in water until ready, as it is tasteless from the word absolutely. My husband took the mutton, an overcooked dry fish (the only thing that was more or less carbonara pasta was ordered by my son. Cocktails are also so-so. And as for the price tag, many people write that the prices are affordable, I wouldn't say that, the price tag is too high! There are other cafes that are much tastier and cheaper. I don't recommend it.

We came to eat with our family in the evening. My 3-year-old son was ordered a burger patty because they don't have any other patties. The cutlet was brought raw inside. They asked me to change it. The second cutlet was fried for 40 MINUTES. The child was sitting hungry. As a result, they brought an overcooked (photo attached) and a rubber cutlet, which is impossible to eat, apparently out of spite, since I didn't like the first raw one. I don't understand why this place has such ratings, if the local cook can't even fry a cutlet properly.

A terrible disappointment! I never understood the bad reviews until I went here. We were so praised for this place, but in fact: pizza was the only thing that could be eaten somehow. But they obviously saved on it too — a minimum of filling, a thin, very thin layer of cheese. Grilled vegetables for 500 rubles: It's just ridiculous! There were 3 slices of eggplant, zucchini and 2 pieces of pepper on the plate. The pepper was charred to a cinder on the outside, and raw on the inside. The zucchini was also undercooked, and my teeth were gritting. The eggplant was more or less, but it alone does not pull the price of half a thousand. The service is disgusting. No one met us, we sat down ourselves, we took the menu ourselves. The waitress came over only once to take the order. Then we had to catch her all over the room and literally beg her to bring us the cutlery, salt and an ashtray (there was nothing on the table at all). Instead of bringing forks and knives, she brought pizza and left. We had to wait for her again and beg her so that we could finally eat. Bottom line: we left hungry and annoyed. The prices absolutely do not correspond to the quality of the food and the level of service. I never go back to such establishments and I don't recommend it to you. It's a pity that you can't put zero stars.

2 stars only for fast service. I do not recommend this establishment. We ordered shish kebab and chicken soup for the child, croutons for beer for adults, potatoes with rosemary, cauliflower with garlic, chicken pans with vegetables for me and pork with vegetables for my husband. In general, not a single dish met our expectations. The photo showed how fatty the food is, that is, deep-frying, they do not even spread on napkins to get the excess oil wet, the oil literally flows! I put a napkin under the toast to remove at least some of the butter. It's the same with potatoes, and it's the same with cauliflower. Shish kebab is far from that very Abkhazian!!! Chicken soup with one carrot, photo attached. The pans were not pans, but clay plates. Everything also floats in oil. The price tags are slightly lower than in Moscow. I do not recommend this place to visit if you want to remain friends with the pancreas.

What was difficult to say in the morning that the seats were already booked? Although I made sure that they were not booked, they just ordered such a service, but it turned out to be uncleaned, that is, with scales, how so! Mussels in tom-yam sauce turned out to be just in a fat creamy sauce, but not tom-yam for sure. So this restaurant can't be called premium for sure.
