The historical value of the place is off the scale. And the condition leaves much to be desired. In fact, there is nothing here except Stella and the remains of the embankment. Put it in order, add a couple of fortress walls and tourists will come here in droves.

I would like to restore the fortress, it is an integral part of the city of Almaty and it would be a good place for tourists. It would be possible to organize good tours of the fortress.

In the 60s, I studied at the second school and walked past this monument every day. Then there was a military unit there, but now I don't understand what is there. The brick fence is partially destroyed , and it is unclear what is behind it. Sorry.....
